I ordered a gyro and a dinner salad(dressing on side leaked out everywhere) somehow I got the gyro dinner With a huge plate full... of bland rice and dry gyro meat on top as well as hard cut up pita bread the tzatziki sauce had so much garlic I got heartburnshortly after. Ordered take out for lunch. The service and staff were great. The food was okay, but we were expecting better based on what the... reviews have said, and the price we paid. However, you do get very big portions, but our food was not very hot. I live less thana mile from the restaurant and waited about 30 minutes for the food, but we had to heat it up in the microwave. The flavor ofeverything was very good. I think next time we will dine in to give them another chance and we will certainly update ourreview. Read more
We went on Mother's, so we expected a wait. We got seated quickly, but the service was quite lacking. It took over 20 minutes... for our beverages to arrive, and another 40 minutes for our pita and tzatziki. The pita was fine, but the tzatziki was more of agarlic yogurt than cucumber spread. I love garlic, but this was too much. I went with the Greek French fries, expecting it to bebetter blended (feta doesn't melt very well, so it was like regular fries with ketchup because the cheese kept falling off) butit wasn't. I also ordered the chicken Greek Chow Mein. I'm not sure if it was because I was full on the bread waiting over anhour from our arrival to the entrée, but it actually tasted better as leftovers. I also threw the remaining feta from the friesand a light sprinkling of garlic salt on it, but I very much enjoyed the leftovers. I wouldn't be so irritated at the long waitif the larger group next to us didn't have a better server than ours. They got their drinks in a timely manner, they werechecked on, they got their food and left before we finished our meal. I can't help but wonder if I should have ordered ourdrinks from that server (my husband had stepped away for a minute) so we would have had more attention paid to us. Our serverjust kept saying, "We are backed up on to-go orders, your food will be out shortly." It really shouldn't take 40 minutes forpita and tzatziki sauce in a Greek restaurant, but I'm not in that industry. We did get two free glasses of wine and a freeorder of angel puffs for the inconvenience, but a more attentive server and less garlic in the sauce would have made a betterexperience. Will I return? Not sure. Will I recommend to others? Not sure there, either... especially as the leftovers werebetter than the fresh meal. I don't think I would go out of my way to return, but I also don't think I would discourage othersto try it out. It could have just been a bad day and most of the staff called in, I don't know. We ate at this place so we could try their famous Greek Chow Mein. Wow yum! A must try for sure. I ordered the seafood... sampler and it was really good too. The best seafood plate we had all week. It was pretty good. The food was delicious and the staff were very kind. The food was really filling and I was starving so this... was perfect! I was a little messy but I still liked it. My sister got the fries chicken wrap and she felt there was too muchchicken. She had three strips that were on the larger side. She did mention that she got a fatty chunk of chicken. For my firsttime eating Greek food, I greatly enjoyed it. The whole cheese roasting show was really cool but I didn't really like it becauseI'm picky, but everybody else liked it. Home style, generously sized portions with a clean and light family atmosphere. Bring your appetite, as the portion sizes are... large. Mr. Soulvlaki will leave you satisfied, as to go containers will undoubtedly accompany you on your way home. I highlyrecommend the greek donuts. Read more
