The original Guilio's was housed in a magnificent authentic Victorian mansion. The new operator has downgraded the decor...gone... are the carpets, warm colors, tasteful artwork, seasonal decor. It's now an Italian restaurant in and old house. That said, thefood was very good and the prices reasonable although the place is run with a lack of finesse: take out containers are stackedon mantles, dirty dishes are stacked on dining table, waiter took order and was never seen again, owner was abrupt to the pointof being rude.... I was very excited when I found out that the owner of the restaurant Vicolo's, which has now closed, opened up a new place! It... is called Giulio's Restaurant and it is in Tappan, NY. It is a beautiful establishment best Italian food ever. The lovelyVictorian house, the atmosphere, and the attention from the owner and staff can't be denied.
