Reviews for Pizanos in Taos, NM
Great little shop. The pizza was good and the house salad was fresh and great. We got a small pepperoni and green Chile for... lunch and it was perfect for the two of us. We especially loved the view from the porch. We wish the fence wasn?t there ;) Read more
Due to some crazy circumstances and Labor Day Weekend crowds, we went to Pizanos 2 evenings in a row. Despite the holiday crowd,... we got seated on the patio very quickly both nights. First night we had pasta with pesto and a very good hero sandwich, withMarble Desert Fog on tap. The second night three of us had beers and pizza, very good pizza in this native New Yorker's opinion.Despite short staffing, service was good. They all deserve a medal for waiting, serving, busing and running the cash registerbetween two people! Read more
Cesars salad is spot on. The Rio Grande pizza and the Contractor were very good. Thin crispy crust just the right amount of... sauce cooked perfect and served super hot how pizza should be. I usually eat here every time I'm in Taos and service has been good until tonight. We ordered a spinach salad and large pizza.... The pizza came out but no salad. We reminded several staff 3 times we were still waiting for salad, long after we finished ourpizza. Finally asked to pay for the pizza and drinks. Also server never came back around to see if we wanted more drinks. Goodthing Taos has lots of good restaurants as I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future. Read more
Smaller establishment and off the beaten path of Taos but we'll worth the trip. Pizzas are the mainstays with some unique but... delicious combinations. Weather permitting get out on the deck and enjoy the views. Always make it a point to stop by at leastonce when in the area. Read more
Another wonderful meal at Pizanos. This place is quite good. The food is delicious, with a mix of pizza, Italian entrees, and... sandwiches. The portions are large, as in consider splitting between two people. The service is attentive, and the prices arequite reasonable. We used to frequent another pizza place in town during our ski trips, but that place has fallen in qualitydramatically; Pizanos is now the place to go. Read more
Called in a take out order that was ready 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The buffalo wings were sauced perfectly. Pizza was... great. Only suggestion would be to have the salad dressing separate. Big portions which lasted quite a few days. Perfect startto the ski week. Read more
Excellent pizza with a nice variety of specialty pizza options. I got the Taoseno with Italian sausage, an Antipasti salad, a GF... pepperoni and regular pepperoni for my family. The GF is obviously a homemade crust, as they offer 2 sizes of pizza and GF breadsticks. If you're not a fan of the Udis crust that most pizza places use, Pizanos will really stand out from what you've had inthe past. The dough for the regular pizzas is a nice consistency, maybe could use a tiny bit of sugar to improve the flavor, but still pretty tasty. The Antipasti salad was fresh and loaded with yummy ingredients. My only complaint is, the cheese andmeat were sliced whole, like sandwich slices. We took it out and chopped it ourselves, to integrate it with mixed greens. Thatsaid, the salad was delicious and the dressing is unique and quite good. My celiac daughter was amazed when I ordered a largepizza for her. It's the first time she's been able to get a large pizza. Thank you for putting in some major effort to make theGF experience a special one! All said and done, this is an excellent place to eat and all the food we had was great. Willdefinitely eat here again next time we're in Taos. Read more
