I don't even know where to start, this place is the best spot within a 500 mile radius of Hunter mountain. Honestly we were kind... of underwhelmed by the slopes, but will be coming back literally just to eat more of this food. Everything was the best versionof that food I've ever had, the fish and chips was incredible, orzo Mac and cheese extraordinary, and the pork belly tacos, ohman, I've never seen so much meat piled in to one soft tortilla. And to top it all off, the bread pudding that wasinstantaneously devoured. We ordered a lot of food, like a lot. Like a loooooooot of food, enough for leftovers for weeks, butnone of it survived the dinner table, we ate every last bite. On top of that, the ambiance is second to none, we sat right by afireplace that was much welcomed after a cold day on the slopes. Went to this place to have dinner with a large group before heading back home after skiing. We didn't have reservation but they... are able to rearrange tables and sit the adults in one table and the kids in another. The food is amazing. Didn't expect thiskind of quality in this small town. The trout was perfectly cooked. The chips are amazing and we kept asked for refill. Everything from appetite to dessert are excellent. They have a wide variety of healthy and tasty choices. My husband, myself and our three kids (ages 10, 7 and 3) went here last night and were very pleasantly surprised with the... attentiveness of the staff, how quickly our drinks and food came to us, as well as how delicious everything was. They start youoff with some amazing homemade potato chips. I cannot stress how unbelievably satisfying these are with a drink after a long dayof skiing. My husband and I prefer vegan food more often than not, and this place has a great selection of vegan options plusplenty of vegetarian and carnivorous options as well.
