Excellent restaurant for lunch! I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of items and how great they tasted. The Monte Cristo... was toasted perfectly with quality ingredients inside. They have some of the best cupcakes and cakes I?ve had in a long time. Will definitely go back several times in the future to try more. Read more

The cubano was great, Greek potato salad was creamy and delicious. As someone not from the area, I took note that most people... had a slice of cake as part of their order (and sometimes the only part of their order). Friend of mine noticed the same thing, ordered a slice of red velvet and it changed his life. Read more

Really enjoyed this cafe. There?s a large selection of sandwiches, salads, and bakery goodies. The beef martini was delicious... but next time I would get the bread toasted. The Paris was interesting. I didn?t think I would enjoy the Spanish bean soup butit was well made. The home style potato salad and green potato salad were solid. I would pass on the coleslaw, although onecould tell that it was freshly made - it wasn?t to my liking. Lastly, I would always recommend the alpine cupcake or red velvetcake from here, super yummy. First visit. Picked up an order for the guys at work. Very clean and open environment. All staff wearing white chef coats. ... Tempting desserts displayed in every direction. Take out line was short but multiple large orders were causing a slow down. Myorder was about 12 minutes later than planned. A few customers were getting frustrated with the wait. The food looked delicious. The packaging was well done. My favorite observation was there was a person in charge of double checking the order before it ishanded to the customer. A very large crowd (50?) of Publix managers came in after me. Glad I beat the rush. Read more

Incredible little sandwich spot. The cake is probably the best in tampa, like don't bother with Sprinkles or small cakes or any... of those chains. They hands down have the BEST cake I've ever tried in this country. Their food is so good. Go early to beatthe crowd. We bought 120 quarters of sandwiches for an event. They were very professional catering service. Read more

A Tampa institution, Wright's has been around a very long time. A great and tasty selection of sandwiches and desserts. Buy ... delicious desserts by the piece or buy an entire pie or cake. A bit pricey but worth it. It has changed a lot since I workedSouth Tampa 25 years ago but the food is still awesome. Give it a try sometime when your in the area. I got a ham and cheese, simple but good. Read more

I?m not sure what this place was like in 1963 when they opened, or even 10 years ago but it?s now a well oiled machine. Order at... the designated register, they text you what window to pick up your sandwich when it?s ready. Although the feel of this being alocal sandwich shop might have changed, I assure you that the sandwiches are top notch. Obviously the Cuban (you can get pressedor not) is great, but honestly the Beef Martini became my go to. Sure it?s on white bread (still good though) but with a garlic& herb spread, beef, bacon, and mushrooms. You?ll see locals picking up their phones in orders as well as small tour vansstopping in. Your van or on your own, make sure to be one of the people that comes and tries this place out. Read more

This place was great. You know when there is a line staking all the way to the door, it must be really good. The wait to order... was worth it. The sandwiches were very good, and they had plenty of meat but not too much. We also had a slice of the rum cake, and I have to say it's some of the best I've ever had. The Greek potato salad and pesto pasta salad are excellent choices too.Bring a healthy appetite! Read more
