I am USF Alumna and never knew this shop was on campus! Just discovered it today when looking for a quick bite. The owner was so... nice and has a rapport with everyone that walked it! I?ve walked by this cafe for a year now an finally checked it out. This food is gooood!! The fries are crispy and seasoned. And... the Cuban sandwich that I got was juicy and flavorful! There are quite a few different foods to order here and they have a nicedrink selection too. Also? their honey mustard is killer! I would definitely check this place out. Read more

I would?ve posted pictures of the food but it?s too addicting to stop and take a picture. I?ve tried around 5 items on the menu... and I?ve been extremely satisfied every time. Absolutely delicious AND halal!! I?m from Houston where I?ve had my fair share of philly cheesesteaks, but Tarek?s is hands-down... the best I?ve ever had. The chicken philly, chicken chimichanga, and Cuban sandwich are also FANTASTIC. The owner is so kind andpleasant. Everything about this place is awesome (except the lack of parking but I order ahead and run in to grab it, it?stotally worth it). I?ll keep coming back to try more of the menu as it?s officially my favorite lunch spot, and now I alwayslook even more forward to lunch time. Highly highly recommend giving Tarek?s a try! We ordered french toast catering through Tarek's Cafe as part of a resident event for a student housing community nearby. I am... not a USF student nor am I familiar with the USF campus, so finding the cafe's location was more difficult than I'd like toadmit. Tarek was incredibly patient with me over the phone as I was trying to find the cafe, and presented a smiling face when Ifinally walked through the door. He also went above and beyond to get me and the french toast back to my car without gettinglost again. In short, the customer service received is unmatched. On top of the next-level service, the french toast and bonusmuffin were DELICIOUS. Residents cleared the food within an hour of the event starting, and were all smiles as they cleanedtheir plates. Needless to say, we will absolutely be working with Tarek's Cafe again. And you should, too! :) Read more
