Great service. Well informed waiter that went through the menu with us. The food was fresh and traditional Spanish. The Old... Fashioned cocktail was ok... too much ice for a drink that shouldn't have but one large chunk of ice. Read more

We had a large family meal at this amazing restaurant after researching a unique dining experience and were not disappointed!... There was live music, excellent food, and the best service! The staff made the experience fun by interacting with our group andtaking great care of us. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, as well. It was all around a great time and really made ourfamily get together quite festive! I will plan to return to this restaurant on my next trip to Tampa. It would be worth it toeat at this restaurant alone. As a side note, it also had many meal items that were gluten free and it was so nice to have somevery good options!! Read more

I began going here from the time this place opened so many years ago. I have to share that I absolutely loved their food.... However, in the recent years it’s been hit or miss. I usually order the same thing and only change from time to time. Todaythough, I must say was a sort of last straw. My order is very specific but very clear and simple. Unbelievably they still get itwrong on some occasions but they manage to redo it. (You would think that if they can’t remember, they would write it down.)The problem comes when I’m standing there waiting for the order to be corrected and the person who is attending walks off todo something else while I stand there wondering when she’s going to get back to my order. To top out off I order a deviledcrab (the last one there) and upon sitting down to enjoy it, it looks and tastes like it was fried to death and picked up fromthe floor (disgusting) - hard, dried out. Trust, I only opened it because there was nothing there consumable. How can you, ingood conscience, even consider selling something in this condition!?! Needless to say, I know I won’t break their business, but after many years of hoping it would get better, I’m finally admitting to myself that it won’t… Good bye Spain, itwasn’t me… it was you! Friends of the Google, this place is truly authentic family owned restaurant. Not many places make it- this one has been here 30... years. From nice Spanish Estrella beer and delicious Sangria to start we enjoyed a Friday night here. The veggie paella is trulyincredible and I have a Colombian stepmom so I know. Have to say the best part was getting to chat with the owners son Nick whois gracious and funny and will one day be a doctor! We plan to come back next for the Flamenco show! Read more

Once again, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinners at the Spain Restaurant and Toma Bar. The seafood was artfully... presented and prepared with perfection. We always make sure to follow up with this delicious Cream Catalana. Portion sizes weregenerous, and Casey was efficient and helpful in assisting in our selection of entrees. We will certainly be returning often tothis hidden jewel in downtown Tampa. Read more
