Apparently since masks are no longer "mandatory" employees here do not wear them. As an establiment that serves food, not a good... business practice. Cleanliness and customer service was already hit or miss here so this seals the deal and I won't be goingback. Recommend picking a different Smoothie King if you're in the area. Read more
I ordered a curbside order today and when I drove up to the place I called the store and a girl named Brianna picked up and said... she didn?t have the order and that I?d have to call back in 10 minutes. So I did, and she still didn?t have it and kept makingexcuses that it didn?t go through the system and that she had no control over it. Mind you I literally had the confirmationemail of my order, my card was charged for it, and she refused to make my order despite these evidences. She couldn?t even giveme a refund because a manager wasn?t there. Why would you put a girl alone in a store that can?t even solve minor issues likethis? Very unprofessional and I?ll be calling the store tomorrow to get my refund because she refused to make my smoothie. Read more
This place was really nice. It was clean and smelled really good. Their shelves were totally stocked too. I ordered the Angel... Food 32 oz smoothie and added half of a power pack which has Vitamin B12, caffeine, and ginseng. I also ordered an all naturalbanana bread. Both we're really good and the guy who was there was really knowledgeable. We also received a visit from a reallycute squirrel outside who was standing outside the door at us. Hopefully some day they will open up a location near where Ilive. I found out a lot of Smoothie Kings were franchises instead of corporate stores. The only sad thing was that this smoothiespilled at my job but i was able to get another at their other store. Which was the one I originally wanted to go to in thefirst place. Smoothie King was fine. The options were good. Prices are a little high for what you get, which is why I gave this rating a... 4star. I did not like how they left nuts outside of the door for the squirrels. Squirrels are dirty and can carry diseases. Thisencourages them to be in an area where there is outdoor seating and food. Smoothies are pretty good here. However the owner is horrible. She replaces the more expensive Gladiator protien with a less... expensive protein so she can make more money off customers. She also demands that her staff keep bananas that have burst openand have flies on them. There was mold found on the ice cup at the main location where one manager mainly worked at. Tammyowns the northdale, lutz and carollwood smoothie kings. My advice would be to avoid her locations with the way that she runs herfranchise. Read more
