Used to love this place before the change in ownership, decided to stop by while in town and had the unfortunate experience of... dealing with an older white gentleman who I can only assume is the new owner? I'm sorely disappointed since the change in ownership. I had not been to this establishment for a while until today. I ordered 2... poke bowls and a hibachi shrimp noodle to go approx 11:40. Upon coming home, I found my shrimp in the poke bowl was overcooked(hard & chewy) and there was hair in the hibachi noodles. The sauce in the noodles was still good, but it's difficult tooverlook sanitary atrocities. I had never experienced this in my previous visits to this business. Seriously contemplating myreturn. We ordered rice noodles with tomato soup base and slicked beef, rice noodles with spicy soup base and variety of meat, dry... noodles with ground pork ( tasted like Korean bimbimp without spicy sauce) and vegetarian soup with rice noodles. They were alldelicious and the quantity were very impressive. The staff offered my child a small French fries which is really fresh! Alsothe fried kitchen nuggets were very tasty and crispy. We checked this place out last month since it's new ownership now offering Chinese food. First time there, the food was... delicious and service was great even though they were busy. Most recently, we went back to try some of their other menu items.There were 2 tables including us, and each table were a party of 2. However, the service was horrible. We sat there for morethan 10 minutes before our order was taken. Nobody came back to check on us the entire time we were there. After we were doneeating, we waited another 10-15 minutes and decided to go up to the counter to get our check and to go boxes. It may be worthyit to order to go. The staff was very polite and professional, and the food was ready quickly. I got the vegetarian poke bowl, and while it was... good, it had too much ginger and sauce for my liking. My partner got the rainbow sushi burrito and thought it had a weird smelllike hand sanitizer. I think these may have just been personal preference. I did love everything else about the bowl I got, so Iwould just ask for a little customization if I were to come here again. They offer discounts for USF students, which is nice. Read more
The food here is amazing. I order through uber eats for pickup or delivery but you can also call for take out. My orders have... always arrived fresh and hot. They are also well cooked. The vegetables are always the perfect mix of tender but not soggy andmy steak is always cooked how I request. I really like that when they say hibachi noodles, they don't mean ramen unlike otherplaces. For that alone I'll be a regular. But also because the portion is great for the price. Read more
