READ THE WHOLE POST… please. No doubt the food was authentic of its culture. Super sweet waitress. She checked on us many... times to see that our needs were taken care of. You must try there brown sugar cocktail Delicious. However, THEY A A STAFFMEMBER THAT STEALS / DISHONESTY. After we were done eating both my husband and I went to the restroom. Went back to the table tograb our leftovers. Being he didn’t see wallet, he had thought I had picked it up. We live about an hour and a half away fromtheir place of business. By the time we got home my husband asked me for his wallet and I proceeded to explain that I did nothave it. So we knew right then and there that we had left at at the restaurant on the table. We called a restaurant immediatelyto explain to them where we sat and explain the situation. The woman on the phone said they were busy and that no one spokeEnglish. The next day was memorial day in which they were closed. We then called them on Tuesday again told don’t speakEnglish called again Tuesday evening was told again doesn’t speak English. We had one of our friends from Cuba call them andspeak to them in Spanish and explain what had happened. They have video cameras and they were going to check the cameras to seewhether it was a customer that took it or one of their staff members. Wednesday we called to see if they had checked the camerasand they said they were too busy at that time. Thursday Friday we got the same story. We did call the cops and they did say thatthey get called out there quite often. So, if they had checked the cameras and it was a customer not a big deal. If it was oneof their employees we told them no charges would be pressed they could keep the $500 that was in the wallet we just need it allhis credit cards IDs etc. etc. Being they have not called us back it just goes to say they know who did it. Went here yesterday with a party of about 16 of us. Everyone ordered meals but it took over an hour for the delay and we never... had an apology. The server seemed overwhelmed and my salad which was served last was wilted and stale. Never received theplantain yet it was on the bill. The presentation of each meal was excellent, served in many different ways. Pricey! Downsidetoo, mischievous bug flying around. I would have expected someone to explain why we were delayed for over an hour. We waitedbecause we were among friends. Please improve the customer service!! Read more
Love it here! The service was great! Everyone is very attentive and accommodating. I came here with my family for dinner and the... food was delicious. The best mofongo I’ve ever had, hands down.
