Didn?t get a chance to try the food but I did enjoy walking into the place. The bar is something to be seen, definitely setup... for crowds during sporting events. Bartender made a decent old fashioned but was distracted by their phone and kept forgettingthere were people at the bar. Read more

A MUST FOR WINGS!!! I've eaten at a lot of places that sold wings, in multiple states. This place is one of the best. The... boneless chicken is cooked to perfection. Not too dry and not undercooked. I had the garlic parm seasoning and it too wasperfect. It was dusted and not lightly. Sooo much flavor. If anyone is in the downtown Tampa area, come check out Maloney's.Definitely worth the trip. Great place for Irish food and beer!! Our server made us feel welcome and was very attentive. The food came out correct, warm... and tasty. We sat outside and our server was nice enough to bring a bowl of water out for our dog. Looking forward to goingback!! Read more

This was my first spot for a bite on this trip to the 813, as it was closest to my hotel after coming back from the business... part of my travel. (Side note: you know that part in my profile about "castles in the sky" meaning in the construction industryso that means I wasn't the most GQ or in sports bar haute couture) My waitress was pleasant and attentive, and didn't requiremuch effort to get me to enjoy another Smithwick's Red Ale especially after being non-stop for 10 hours prior. The smooth maltflavor & subtle sweetness of the beer was enough to recharge me, and balance the heat from my order of 5 wings and buffalochicken sandwich. Thick cut fries & sweet BBQ sauce balanced my meal. Calories don't count on a Friday, and besides I was at ajobsite. Their black & tan sundae helped me to rehydrate and satisfy my sweet tooth. Decent beer selection; mostly standard and a few craft style. Maloney?s Red seemed a bit light on flavor and kind of watery. ... Mango Cart is pretty good for a fruity beer. Fried Avacado is good; and the pretzel bites seem to have had extra salt addedunnecessarily. Atmosphere is that of a typical Irish Pub/sports bar. Read more

Good food, but if you are looking for a quick bite at lunch, you might want to keep looking. Service a bit slow outside, but may... be better inside?
