Reviews for La Perrada Colombiana in Tampa, FL
Did not liked the way that the employees were looking at me the moment I walked into the restaurant and got sat down. I waited... for around 15 seconds and walked out. The employees at the front looked at me like I was a pest... specially a male 5'9ish employee. The experience ruined my appetite ????... To be honest I would expect this for a fast food service notrestaurants Shame that a the restaurant has amazing food but the staff leaves to be desired. Read more
It's always ready on time and taste amazing. I've been coming here for many years and they never disappoint
After arriving in Tampa looked for a place to grab a bite to eat. La Perrera is a Colombian restaurant. Ordered a passion fruit... juice made with water and a teaspoon of sugar, delicious. As an appetizer ordered the empanadas, meat patties. Crunchy, tasty, nice texture, accompanied by a variety of sauces i.e. hot Colombian sauce, pineapple sauce, chimichurri, mayoketchup. I alsoordered morcilla or blood sausage with a small corn cake. It was delicate and tender to the palate, however, it was only onesausage. As the main plate i ordered a salchipapa which is a combination of sliced hot dog French fries, cheese, ground meat, mayo. It was all mixed together. I was not impressed with the taste as it was very oily. I am told it's like an after clubbingdelicacy. The restaurant was clean, server was attentive, courteous. I'll comeback for the appetizers, and probably anothermain plate. Rating it 4. Read more

This food is not Colombian, they really don?t put any effort in their food. The plantain were burnt. The hot dog was disgusting.... I don?t even know what kind of meat but it tasted disgusting and looked gross. The waiter was rude, sarcastic. It all began whenwe asked her if they had Patacón she said ?That?s Venezuelan? with a stink face, we kindly replied no it?s Colombian too. Weasked can we get the hot dog with out fries and she had a problem with that. We are true Colombian and we can honestly say thisfood is NOT COLOMBIAN! My worse experience was with an uneducated waiter. Not once did she check on us and offer us refills orpick up our plates. I am a biggg tipper because I was a waiter back in my days too. But it hurts me to tip her. If you spendmore than $20 they automatically charge you 15% tip. DO NOT COME TO THIS RESTAURANT! Read more
What a sad meal. The black burnt pieces supposed to be sweet plantain and the beef empanada has no beef. It?s filled with potato... like Indian samosa. The yucas are so bad you can?t even chew them. I have no idea how is this a good establishment. I urge thehealth department to audit this place. Read more
