For Thursday lunch I was looking for a place to order lunch from. Khan Murjan was on my list to have food. So through door-dash... I ordered through Khan Murjan. From the menu I decided to order Half Chicken with Chickpea Salad, White Beans Soup, ChickenShawarma and Iraqi Bread with Garlic and Butter. The service was good and i got my order delivered in 30 minutes. The food thatI got was hot and seemed like freshly made. First i had chick pea salad along with the white beans soup. Both were amazing anddelicious. I loved their taste. Then I had chicken shawarma which i loved it as chicken was cooked perfectly with good amount ofsauce. Then i had half chicken with rice and salad which was delicious with chicken cooked well. Finally, I had the Iraqi breadwhich i loved it and was cooked perfectly. Amazing and delicious food. We loved the Maskoof fish. Owner serves customers himself to ensure quality. Very hospitable, offering complimentary tea and... lentil soup. Too bad I tried this place on my last week before moving out of Tampa. It would have been a favorite! Read more

Wow, what a delightful experience. The dishes were large, bright, and flavorful, and the spices were exquisite. My first dish... was the lentil soup which was smooth and balanced and literally had me saying "wow". Then they brought out the mixed grillplatter (pictured) which has chicken, lamb, and beef kababs with rice and fresh vegetables; the meats were perfectly spiced, tender, and all uniquely delicious. I also had the Iraqi bread with garlic butter which was mouthwatering, and the baba ganoushwhich was creamy and delicious as ever. This was my first time eating Iraqi food and the owner was very helpful in making sureI ordered something I liked. Also the food came out hot and reasonably fast. I definitely recommend checking this place out ifyou want to "spice up" your life! Read more

Me and my friend stumbled upon this hole in the wall place one night when we were looking for places to eat. Khan Murjan is a... middle eastern eatery ran by an Individual from Bangladesh. The food served specifically the half chicken was amazing the onlydrawback was you have to buy bottled water there. If you are hungry and want to try middle eastern food this placed should be ontop of your list! Read more

My family and I came in today for dinner and man did we eat. The Adas soup was perfectly spiced and served in cute silver bowls,... the fried Kibeh (ground beef in a potato based batter) appetizer came hot and crunchy, and the entrees were unbelievably good.No words can fully express how much we enjoyed the stay and the food! Our service was top notch and personal. We got to knowthe restaurant owner and tried their Bamya (okra and tomato stew) and a delicious mildly spicy salsa that we enjoyed with ourentrees. I ordered the traditional Dorma (veggies stuffed with a rice-beef mixture). It was served with a soup and a drink. There is free black tea made with saffron (absolutely perfect). My dish was large enough to feed a small family of three andserved with raw onion, cucumbers and carrots; all of which I enjoyed munching on when I finished my stuffed veggies. My motherand father had baked fish which reminded them of their childhood in Kuwait (a good sign). My husband and brother had the mixedgrill which was so good, I was envious. 10/10 experience, highly recommend. Read more
