This is one of my go to places for a nourishing and fulfilling dinner. Whenever I order, the food is ready quickly and they... never disappoint in flavor or kindness. Veggie platter, hummus, lentil soup and Arabian salad are some of my favorites. Baklavaalso tastes fresh and homemade if you are in the mood for a sweet treat. I will be coming here for a long time. Dishonest! They canceled my Uber order twice in a raw! They don?t cancel it right away (which is okay, they might sold out) but... they make the driver comes all the way to their restaurant and then tell em that someone else has picked it up!! What! OK. So we drove from Gainesville (2 hours) and spent some time at the zoo with our kid. We told ourselves what would be a good... lunch /early dinner after a long tiring day than mixed grill at a middle Eastern restaurant. We arrive there and unfortunatelymany things were very disappointing 1- They had two servers in the restaurant but the service was very poor. Tables were leftdirty the whole time . The server didn't even offer a cup of water ( I guess u have to pay for water here). 2- The mixed grillwas saltless and spiceless and as far as it gets from authentic. The kofta meat was dry with no Kosta spices noted. The chickenTawook was basically dry chicken with curry . They serve yellow rice with the grill which is surprising. The arayes sandwitchwas only meat and bread ( didn't notice any garlic, pomegranate concentrate or any arayes specific spices. The meat was bland 3-The Hummus was actually good and authentic 4- after all this poor service ( the server actually forgot my order and had to comeagain and ask me about what my order was) after all of this, they charge 15% mandatory "service fees" for me, my wife and our 3year old saying that this is house policy! The food is excellent, some of the best Arabic food in Tampa. That being said, the food is always late almost every time and... that's the only reason I can't give this delicious place five stars. It's disappointing I've been coming here for three yearsregularly and 90% of the time I have to wait an extra 30 - 40 minutes. For example tonight I ordered a half chicken at 9:30.. Iwas told it will be half an hour, it's now 10:31 and I'm still here waiting and It probably won't be done until 10:45. I hopethe owner finds a way to fix these issues Read more
Great food with a supermarket if u wanna shoot while waiting for food. Definitely recommend the bread with Hummus. And the all... the kebabs they have. Juicy and delicious. Read more
