Last evening, I ordered orange chicken based on a review here. It was so dry I could barely chew the chicken. The rice was so... dry it must have been sitting all day. I ate a little bit and put it away thinking I would add some sauce today and try again.There was no saving this meal. I called China 1 and they said I should have brought it back yesterday. I had friends over andwas too busy to fix their mistake. I won't go there again. The woman on the phone was so rude and yelled and cursed at me. Read more
The service is mediocre at best. They act a bit like they're doing you a favor by serving You. The decor us dollar store... quality, and a bit blah. I would like to say the food is the saving grace here but,... nah. Its barely mediocre and I'm being abit generous. Will I be back for cold food that's more like tv dinner quality and taste? To begin with, my boyfriend's order was mostly right except for the broccoli he asked to be well done so it wouldn't be so... crunchy which it was so that wasn't right. But for my order I asked for a large Szechuan chicken which is supposed to come withrice. They ended up giving me a small with no rice and it was mostly shredded onions, celery, and carrots with a hint ofchicken. I ordered Szechuan chicken not Szechuan onion. My boyfriend called them to complain but then decided to just call GreatWall (who we usually order from it's just they've gotten a bit expensive) and ordered a large Szechuan chicken from them and thedifference is insane...and so is the flavor!
