I love these meals....have tried it twice now and each meal is excellent. In fact the portions are SO generous that my husband... and I actually get a second meal from each entrée. No contracts or minimum commitments required. You can even specify howoften you want the meals delivered. Ingredients are super fresh and the recipe is easy to follow in a step-by-step fashion. After the pandemic, I was so tired of my own cooking and having to plan meals. With Chef Ami, I am excited about dinner and... enjoy doing the meal prep with my husband. The meals are healthy and often I have enough leftover for lunch the next day. I feellike I go to cooking school each night in my own kitchen. The meals from Chef Ami are DELICIOUS! But that?s not the only reason I love it? The meals are made with seasonal ingredients... from local sources. Each meal is packaged together in its own bag which makes it super easy to unpack the box and keep theingredients together. When it?s time to cook, grab that meal?s bag from the fridge and get started. The day my meals aredelivered, Chef Ami sends a text with some extra tips for that week?s recipes. Recipe cards are printed on high quality, thick,glossy stock. Instructions are very easy to follow including prep and plating. Everything is laid out step-by-step, so thetiming is perfect. The seasonings are wonderful. The portions are ample for two people. Chef Ami reduces waste by picking upthe box, liner, and cold packs from your previous meal delivery. Each meal can be customized with a nice variety of proteinchoices, including multiple vegetarian and vegan options. There is an option to add a 4th meal each week. On my own, I am nota good cook. I've used several meal delivery services and Chef Ami is by far the best. The recipes are easy, the food is delicious,... ingredients are very fresh, and serving sizes are just enough bigger to satisfy even my 21-year-old son. I also love that youcan leave out the box and freezer packs for Chef Ami to pick up and recycle! I hated throwing away all the waste from the othermail-order services. Some of it was recyclable, but not all. My one request would be to allow purchase of two meals as anoption. I am not a great cook, nor do I enjoy cooking. Sometimes I just want to make something super easy or eat leftovers. Itwould be nice to have that flexibility. Read more
Our friend told us about Chef Ami, and I am so glad. The ingredients are fresh and the recipes are delicious. We received a... tomato for the thai chicken burgers, and my husband and I both thought it was the prettiest tomato we'd seen in years, (wish Ihad taken a picture). It's nice to know that it was grown locally. I love the environmentally conscience packaging and thatthey recycle the boxes each week. This was a favorite... blackened mahi-mahi with a simple caprese salad. We are hooked! Read more
I would really love giving 100 stars!!! We absolutely love Tuesdays when our Chef Ami boxes arrive. My husband received a demo... at his work and we opted to try it out because we always wanted to try a meal order service. I am a vegetarian and he is a meateater and this has been amazing because we get the same meal with a veggie option (veggie bacon, tofu, etc.) the meals aresimple and delicious... And I can't rave enough about how wonderful this entire thing is! Read more
