We did not enjoy this experience. I?d been before and had stellar service and a delicious meal. This was my companion?s 1st time... here and he?ll never return. There were coffee grinds in my coffee. Usually, they offer flavored creamer but that is no longeran option, just half and half. The waffles were so tough that I could barely cut them with a knife. The chicken tasted old likeit had been reheated multiple times. We ordered waffles and pancakes but we had to ask for syrup and when they brought it, itwas only enough for 1 person. The food was so bad that neither of us could make it even halfway through the meal. The restaurantwasn?t full so there wasn?t much of a wait but we still had to wait much longer than expected to get the check. Many of theproblems that restaurants are facing are beyond their control so we didn?t make a fuss; we just paid our $50 tab for 2 peopleand left. Every time I?ve visit Broken Yolk it?s nothing except good genuine vibes. Food is Good alway on point and tasty. The host John... is ALWAYS great to my husband and I. Maria the manager is excellent I never knew the time they close because I visit duringbreakfast and even tho it was near closing Maria still serviced me. Before I begin, I ordered steak Chilaquiles and hubby got himself a full stacked pancakes with a side of cheese grits. His... pancakes didnt come with no side butter, grits were bland until he added some salt to save them lol Presentationwas Beautiful?? BUT was not a fan of paying $10 for this breakfast plate. NO SAUCE WHATSOEVER, eggs we?re done How I love them for sure???????? But again, carne asada was meh, and very little food tbh. Maybe I came on an off day but my service was subpar. They girl forgot to ask us if we wanted water, so we asked for some but... then she completely forgot about it until after to food came out. The food looked delicious but my plate was a bit bland. Thisis my second time coming here so I will give it another chance since my little guy loves the food. Read more

5 for outdoor dining and plenty of overhead fans. 5 for the lemon ricotta pancake, highly recommend it. 5 for fairly... reasonable meal cost. 4 for getting hash browns instead of the home fries ordered, and although this was fine, I have tohonestly rate the hash browns a 3 as they were half overly cooked to a???? crisp, otherwise the eggs and bacon cooked perfectly.May I suggest that wait staff write the orders down. This is one of the places I come when I'm having breakfast with family or friends. The food is always fresh, well made and hot.... The help is always pleasant and friendly. They will customize your food order, the portions are large and plated foodpresentation is appealing. It's always clean but can be cold early in the morning. When alone I opt for other places that areless expensive and have less variety. It is perfect however for a group, the menu is very large and chock full of tasty choices.They also have healthy and vegan options. Read more
