I have been consistently ordering food from Asian Wok and their food has been consistently delicious. No where else can one... obtain this quality of food for their very affordable prices. My favorites so far are their egg rolls, boneless spareribs,bourbon chicken, and garlic chicken wings. I would highly recommend giving their restaurant a try if you haven?t already. You?llget hooked. Food has pretty good flavor. My family said the dumplings are some of the best they?ve had. However, I waited over 45 minutes... and part of my order was incorrectly made. Thankfully they fixed that issue. I will admit, I?m VERY disappointed in the GeneralTso tofu. The corners of the tofu were hard as rocks and were very dry. I even requested extra General Tso sauce and therewasn?t enough to cover the bottom, let alone extra. I wouldn?t recommend the tofu at all. Read more
Asked the girl if I got fried noodles for my soup. She said yes. Well I'm still looking for them! She wasn't accommodating at... all! Her eyelashes must of gotten in the way! I ordered house fried rice! Got pork fried rice. Ordered fried rice with my shrimpand lobster sauce. Got something else. Never will go back again!!!!! Read more
Today my wife and I went to a UPS store which was right next to the Asian Wok in the same mall. We saw a line outside the WOK... and a nice woman Was waiting for her order smiled and said the food here is great. It was just about Lunchtime so we decided togive it a try. Prior to today my wife and I were a little disappointed but the lack of authentic Chinese Food in St. Petersburg.Well today we finally found the place we have been searching for!!!! The Food was some of the best Chinese Food my wife and Ihave ever eaten. The chicken with cashew nuts was cooked to perfection and the Szechuan Chicken my wife had just the rightamount of ?kick? First time having Chinese food during the pandemic. Was very clean and they weren?t letting any customers into the restaurant... which I liked. You just pick up at the window. The ingredients were fresh and the food was tasty. Love the food containers theyuse as well. Nothing cheap. Didn?t mess anything up on the order and gave lots of condiments as well. Everybody has their hole in the wall place for americanized chinese food and this is mine. I?ve been going here since I was... little and one of the men working behind the counter was a teenager. We?ve moved all around St. Pete yet still make the voyageover here whenever we want chinese takeout because it?s that good. My family quite literally won?t get takeout chineseelsewhere. We always get a lo mein, bourbon chicken, crab rangoon, and general tsos. They are consistently good and I can?ttell you the last time they?ve messed up our order or given us less than ideal food. The food and menu hasn?t changed over theyears and neither has the quality. I know the place only had 4 stars, but I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will defendit to anyone. This place is a staple in my family?s life and honestly of my childhood. The food itself is always hot andsizable portions for how much you pay. I?ve never had undercooked chicken or lo mein. The bourbon chicken is my absolutefavorite and is always perfectly charred and seasoned. The general tsos is always good and never too saucy. Read more
