1-Waited 15 min after being seated with no one to wait on us. Restaurant not even busy. We got up and told someone that no one... had attended us. 5 min later, still no server in site. Got up and told the greeter. Finally we met our server a coupleminutes later. 2- I ordered a salad, it had about 2 Oz of water under the salad. I've been going to this location for years and never had an experience as bad as my family did yesterday. The server was telling... another server to take us for some reason when we walked in even though the place was about empty at the time. She sat us at adirty table and wiped the dirt on my lap instead of towards the floor. We didn't see her at all after she dropped the food. Shedidn't stop back by to see if the food was okay or if we needed anything. I saw the manager asking the tables behind us howeverything was but he walked right past our table. The hostess asked the table right behind us if they needed refills. Shedidn't ask us even though I had our empty cups at the very edge of the table. We had to ask for the check. They all treated uspoorly and like we weren't paying customers. It was terrible and we'll never eat there again. They need to focus on bettercustomer service, even the manager. I used to be a server and there is absolutely no excuse for any of that. None. I know theworkforce is lacking right now but that was just pathetic. Read more
Our server Diana was awesome, service started at the door and as she cleaned up after the last guests she kept us engaged in... conversation. She was extremely patient and helpful in getting our orders taken and our drinks to the table. When she broughtour appetizers out for us to enjoy, she updated us with an ETA of when the entrées would be out, and asked if we were enjoyingour time and food; she was pleasant and professional a total breath of fresh air. This being our third Applebee's in Tampa totry, she made the experience rank at #1, so Diana we'll be back to see you soon. You were the best server and your attitude madeus feel there was no wait, we arrived at 658p and left at 820p smiling, we enjoyed our time tremendously and you definitely hadthe best customer service I've seen at an Applebee's. Seated and served quick. Had to show ID for my almost 40th birthday? Not mad but really lol? Pretzels and cheese were really... good. Both meals came out after the app, as expected, mine was literally screaming hot. Seasoned perfectly. The shrimp andchicken couldn't of been better! I'm usually pretty picky, but they absolutely nailed it on this day. Got loaded mash with thecajun chicken and shrimp I think it was. She got quesadilla burger, exactly how it was expected. Read more
