Based on the reviews and tempting photos, we gave this warehouse district hole-in-the-wall joint a try while visiting Tampa and... ended up incredibly disappointed.... To keep it simple my wife and I both ordered pretty classic diner grub; eggs, biscuits &gravy and specifically "crispy hash browns" what we received I can only describe as half full plates of last week'sgarbage. Maybe it was an off day... But for a Saturday morning at 9 am you'd think the food would be fresh. It wasn't. Ittasted like it was made served and thrown away last week only to be plucked out of the garbage, dusted off, and stored on a hotroof for the week then scraped back into the fryer with the original 1976 "vintage grease". "Cooked" to a slick and shinymedium warm and served with a smile. And I do mean that... The only redeeming aspect was the service. Kind, even if obliviousto the absolute disaster on the plate.
