I don't do this often but when I do its a big deal I have to give a shoutout to an absolute gem by the name of Miguel, Not only... was he helpful and patient when I explained I had lost my receipt for a discount smoothie but the smoothies he made were simplydelicious. My smoothie was fine as was my experience at the register. The problem comes when a single employee doesn't wash his hands,wear... a head covering or a face mask. I witnessed him move from food item to smoothies with no effort to stay food safe. The otheremployee was fully engaged and compliant with health safety standards. I frequent this TS and today I had the WORST service. I stood at the register to be greeted for about 5 minutes, no one even... looked my way. After my order was taken, I watched Janie (the girl making my wrap) joke around and play around with hercoworker (hoping it was not the manager because he was extremely unprofessional). It took Janie 15 minutes to make my wrap andit was still missing ingredients. I am highly dissatisfied with this location and will advise family/friends to avoid! Read more
I got a Beach Bum with pb and a Ultimate Club without tomatoes. The Beach Bum came out quickly and was awesome as I come to... expect from other locations. Then my girlfriend and I watched the worker preparing the sandwiches take 12 minutes to prepare asingle sandwich, during that time she touched her hair with her glove twice without changing them, put wilted lettuce on oursandwich and almost added tomatoes to it. I LOVE tropical smoothie, but this location really sucks. The food is never prepared correctly and the smoothies are always... watered down. I?ve never gotten one from here that was just made as it should be. I always have to come back or ask for my stuffto be remade. I?ve literally had an issue with them my last 3 visits! & I always try to come back and give them the benefit ofthe doubt... but they just deserve the doubt honestly. This location just recently remodeled and opened back up in the Gov. Sq mall, and with that being said my expectation was high... for new staffing, service, and overall customer engagement. So much for high hopes, because I witnessed all the same behaviorsof the past prior to them closing for remodel. I will only stop at this location if I decide to take my lunch break at the mallotherwise, I prefer to go to the location two blocks over on Magnolia. I was dissatisfied with my smoothie. On two occasionsI've ordered a smoothie and the taste and consistency was not to standard. The smoothie was really choppy, not smooth at all; itneeded to be blended more. The wait time was long and being on a timed lunch break I didn't have the time to request anotherone. Read more
