I go to the Sweet Shop nearly every morning for coffee and breakfast. The owner is so sweet to me always. He always says good... morning with a smile and greets me kindly. Love this place. The coffee is great and the food is even better. It?s definitely made me gain some weight. The owner/manager is... completely unhinged and you?ll likely hear him yelling at his workers while you struggle to get the Wi-Fi to work, but that?spart of the charm of this place. Just to give you an idea- one day I was there and he had his son only letting 4 people into therestaurant at a time (not for Covid, but bc they were short-staffed). The poor kid had to lock and unlock the door about every15 seconds, while his dads yelling orders at him from behind the counter. When we finally got into the restaurant, we had toorder basically right away, and my girlfriend was shaking in terror because she knew she?d get yelled at if she took a secondtoo long to decide.???? it?s a ridiculous environment but the food is great and you need to go for the experience. I come here twice a week with friends, and I genuinely love the food and drinks here. However, despite both my friend and I... having bought food and drinks, my friend was publicly shamed and yelled at by the manager for having an empty Starbucks cup fromearlier in the morning. We both follow the rule of not having outside food and drink, but the manager continued to berate myfriend even after explaining the cup was empty. How dare you shame us in public for a genuine misunderstanding. Show some basicrespect for your customers. You have lost our business and we will be telling our friends about this as well. Read more

This is a decent place to get a good meal. We often stop here when we visit our daughter. They have good selection of paninis,... wraps and salads. Smoothies were very fruity, but slightly watered down. Would come again. Read more

We heard about The Sweet Shop from a counselor with the FSU Music Camp, and wow! They were so right! We grabbed breakfast and... lunch on a Sunday here - service was inviting, friendly and excellent, food was accurate and absolutely delicious. Tables wereclean, wide variety of seating and menu options, aimed at the college crowd (obviously), but many families there too. Thanksfor filling our bellies with your delicious breakfast & lunch. The strawberry smoothie, root beat float and grilled cheese wereour favorites. Read more

What a wonderful gem. Great food and an entertaining establishment to visit. A young lady played piano at the front. I had a... very nice conversation with the owner who is the living embodiment of the American dream that FSU has to offer: work hard andsuccess shal follow.
