My wife and me discovered this gem a few months ago and it is now our go to seafood restaurant. The seafood is always so fresh... and delicious. I?m a blackened fish fanatic and generally go for the snapper or grouper. My wife is a ? Deep South? girl who wasraised on fried catfish, cheese grits, hush puppies & fries and this restaurant never disappoints her. The serving portions forentree and sides are generous. Staff is friendly and attentive. Before we eat, we like to grab a cocktail at the bar, andoccasionally eat dinner at the bar. Fun daily specials. We?re anxious to try the Thursday shrimp special. Never met a Manager (Patrick) so rude in my life. This was one the worse Father's Day Dinner ever. My mother's food was horrible... she sent it back twice. She never touch the plate or accepted it from waiter but was force to pay 26.00 for it. The ManagerPatrick is one of the most disrespectful and rude staff members i have ever come in contact with. The oysters from Texas were nice, big and plump. The crab claws were mushy and not so good. Hubbie enjoyed the fish and grits.... The clam chowder was nice and filling. They had plenty of servers. It has a nice decor and bar, inside and out. Read more

I love seafood so wanted to try this place but what an overall terrible experience. I called in a simple order of gator tail and... oysters two of my favorite appetizers typically and they told me it would be a 15 minute wait. I got there in 25 minutes andproceeded to wait an additional 40 minutes for my food At the restaurant. I was told within 10 mins they were just waiting onthe oysters and received no other update for the entire 30 minutes that I proceeded to wait on 6 oysters. When I got the food itwas not worth the wait at all, the gator tail was greasy cold and extremely salty, with more breading than gator meat, Icouldn?t eat more than a handful .The oysters were just unappetizing and after waiting so long it definitely wasn?t worth it. UPDATE!!! So the band was on fire tonight and the food and service was exquisite from the time we we?re greeted at the door. I... do appreciate the effort that was put in. He didapologize and explained it was a lot of food coming out and acknowledged the orders had been placed. Our waitress paused by ourtable after that and we had to ask her for a condiments tray and the people who sat down 10mins after got their food before weeven got the rest. I can honestly say I have seen busier days here and trust me today wasn't it. We never received our firstentree. My partner decided that it was just time to go.
