We found this place 5 years ago on our way to St. Augustine, Fla. The very best burger experience we ever had. Fast track... forward we had another trip planned for this year and made plans to stop there again hoping experience would be same. Things hadchanged a little with having to order on kiosk and no floor staff but food experience was still the very best! Read more

Dine in. Service is self served mostly. Only cooking crew no wait staff. Very slow preparing order. They work drive thru faster... more concerned with drive thru. Waited over 20 minutes for food. Customer service sucks at best. Read more

This will be a short review for me. The food we had (steakburgers) was excellent but I truly dislike having to scan through... screens at a kiosk to order a meal. I miss "personal service". Offering kiosks as an order r ing option is fine, but not whenit's mandatory. It's been a while since I dined at a Steak 'n Shake because of Covid and will try another location. But if thisis chain-wide, I'm done with them. I get more and better service at McDonald's and Burger King; and that's sad. For me, personalservice is more important than saving a few cents on an order. Read more

This steak and shake was nice and hot! Made a great burger although they wouldn?t venture from the menu. I asked for an egg on... my fresco melt but they don?t do it anymore. Restrooms were not well maintained. Read more

My garlic burger, fries and shake were great as always. Place could use a good updating and a little more detail on cleaning

Good burger. A little small at $3.99, but still two patties, fresh, hot, and delicious. I'm still unused to the absence of human... interaction when I order via a kiosk, choose my table, pick up my order from the counter, eat and depart without ever speakingwith anyone. Simply strange to me. Read more

Usually quick service but I did notice while sitting to lunch, a worker came and assisted an elderly man with the ordering kiosk... and noticing he was leaving with an armful of food for the to-go order, walked him to the door, held it, and proceeded to theparking lot in what I can only say was likely an attempt at further assistance into his car; however, he walked from a nearbyhotel so she asked if he needed help. The man gently declined and she came back in and back to work. This is not seen oftenthese days but does make me appreciate this staff member. Read more

Alright folks, let me update you on how Steak n Shake works now. For starters, there are no waiters/waitress's anymore. You walk... in and there are four touchscreen kiosks. You go to one of them and select what you want. It's rather pretty simple to do andit's a very large screen so it's easy to read. It's also easy to customize what you want. After you pay, which they accept cash, card, gpay, and apple pay. You then, if you got a beverage, walk over and grab your cup and fill it up yourself. If you got ashake, like my wife did, they'll bring it out to you. Came out before our food. After about a 5-8 minute wait, they called outour number on the receipt and we picked up the food. The food was fresh and tasted fantastic. If this is the future, then it'slooking pretty bright. The prices for the food were pretty cheap when you compare it to other restaurants and I thought it was agood value personally. Read more
