Reviews for Solle's Pizza in Tallahassee, FL

After seeing many many rave reviews over the years, we finally made it around to trying the renowned Solle's pizza. And let me... tell you, the hype is worth it! We got one small white pie, and one small 5-topping (with pepperoni, ham, onions, green peppers,& mushroom on half), plus a side of garlic cheese bread. Everything was delicious and high-quality toppings. I decided to "jazzup" my slices of the white pie by adding basil, garlic salt, olive oil and honey, and WOW that took it up to a whole otherlevel, making it my favorite pizza I've ever had! But even as-is, the white pie was delicious. They're less than 10 minutes fromour house, so we will of course be regular customers there now. Solle's is a "hole-in-the-wall" place, which means, it is special, in a good way. Some of the best food I have eaten have come... from a place like this. Based solely on the Special Italian Sandwich (pictured), I give Solle's five stars. It was fresh,delicious, and plentiful. I can't wait to try the pizza and calzone. Got the special for Wednesdays, the eggplant Parm. Opted for the extra add on, meatballs. Came with garlic bread. Honestly one... of the best things I've ever eaten. As good as mom used to make. Everything had such good flavor. Just like you would want. Thegarlic bread was dripping with oil and garlic, but crispy on the outside. Perfection. Can't wait to come back for other items onthe menu. Had the stuffed shells! Amazing great portion had leftovers for lunch and the bread hmm yumm. That garlic spread was perfect.

The pizza was hot and fresh! The salads were freshly made! Everything had great flavors. All the employees were nice, and there... was a friendly atmosphere. We love supporting local restaurants. We will be returning again. Read more

The pizza was great and I am-a connoisseur of pizza. The just-a right amount of-a double cheese, pepperoni that will make you... slap-a your mother, and sausage from-a that's Italian. Good looking pizza and nice employees for a reasonable price. This is agood choice for pizza and more. You won't be disappointed. Read more

We happened to run into this absolute gem of a restaurant. As soon as I walked in I was hit with an amazing smell and very... friendly customer service. The place was clean, the atmosphere was great. Then the food came out. We had no idea the calzonewould be monstrous! The red sauce has got to be homemade because it?s easily the best my husband and I have had. The .75 for theadd ons for the calzone we?re absolutely worth it because it was stuffed with different meats. Meatball sub was toasted toperfection and the meat balls tasted amazing.
