I like this place but they need to have better bathroom locks. I locked the door and someone was still able to open it while I... was in there, totally unacceptable and an invasion of privacy. One day I walked into Lucky Goat and I was feeling down and tired. The barista, Raven, was so sweet and kind and just uplifted... my ENTIRE day. Their friendliness made me want to go back all the time. Now when I go there and don't see Raven, I honestly feela little disappointed. I guess what I am trying to say is that I never write reviews but seeing Raven and having them make mycoffee makes my day! Thank you so much for all that you do. Great coffee, great people, great atmosphere. Love this place. I also really like that it's similar to Cheers - it's a place... where everybody knows your name. Now, technically, they don't know my name, but that's because I go by a different name everytime I go there. One day I'm Karl. Then Klaus. Then Tom Hinks (not Hanks). One time I even said that I was "Queen Mary", but Iwinked at the barista to make sure they knew that wasn't my real name. Why do I do this? While I can't go into details, let'sjust say that I played a key role in getting the children's playground at a popular fast food restaurant closed for a week for"maintenance" purposes. To say that I've made some powerful enemies in this town is an understatement. But beyond this oneminor issue, five stars all around for this place! Read more
Place is very clean. I get regular drip coffee and it is always fresh and not "thin". They treat you right. Cheese danish is... pretty sweet and amazing. Cuban Coffee is not bad either. This is one of my favorite coffee places. This brand does notdisappoint. Pretty consistent on products and being friendly. Read more
I absolutely love Lucky Goat Coffee's coffee; however, the seating leaves much to be desired. (This seems to be a theme for LG... across town.) I judge the welcoming nature of a coffee shop based on these three factors: number of electrical outlets, howclose the plugs are to the tables, and the lighting. Not having enough outlets is a strong indicator that whoever designed thelayout of the shop does not actually spend much time in a coffee shop. Students, traveling professionals, (or in my case) peoplewho work from home desiring to feel plugged into society for a day use coffee shops as workspace. If there are not enough plugs,people have to play musical seating or potentially intrude on another person. Still ... they have the best coffee in town, soI'm forgiving their lack of public electricity. Read more
