Maybe I had too much expectation for it. The food came short. Fish lacks flavor, not tender, not tasty at all. The grits was... fine, but the scallop and shrimp were so tiny. Service was good tho Read more

We had a really nice dinner at Lucilla yesterday. Food was delicious. I had Salmon with the miso glaze. It was really good.... Others in my party had the steak, chicken and pasta with shrimp. All were well cooked and delicious. Service was excellent. Theycharge for a bread basket and it?s totally worth it. We also had the pimento cheese appetizer. Soooo good. Expensive but Ithought the portions were generous. We didn?t drink but they have a very nice wine selection. Read more

This restaurant is hands down the best food in Tallahassee. We have frequented this restaurant many times and it never... disappoints! The food is so amazing; no matter what we order (large parties and all) everything is so good. The owners arealways there which says a lot for the quality and care given. Always my go-to for special occasions! Read more

Great little place, like others have said don't pass it cause of the outside. Inside decor is very contemporary. The kitchen is... open so you can see the cooks, not hidden from view so you can see what goes on. The food was great and plenty. Deserts werealso amazing, the lemon brulé and German chocolate cake ????. Service was also ????. Yes it's pricey but well worth it. Read more

Such fantastic food. Everything tasted so special. I had the green hill chicken (I think that's what it's called) and my husband... got the Cajun pasta. We both loved our dishes. For dessert we had the butterscotch cream and bread pudding dishes. Both werevery good, I was partial to the butterscotch which was so decadent with beautiful flavors. The top of the butterscotch had toomuch salt; not sure if that's how it settles. The only other thing I will say is that my husband and I both shared the friedgreen tomatoes and our stomachs weren't too happy. That's the one thing we both shared so we know that was the culprit. I alsothought the tomatoes were sliced just a bit too thick although my husband, who is from Florida, said that's how it's done here(I'm from Texas). Everything else was a pure dream. Truly a wonderful dinner and will love to come back when we're back in town! Read more

Dinner was delicious! We had reservations at 7 and were seated immediately. We started with the fried oysters, which were done... very well. Then the grouper and wahoo, each scrumptious. The blackened wahoo had the perfect amount of seasoning, and therisotto and spinach paired very well all together. The grouper was also delicious, with more crab than we expected and similarlywell balanced sides. Lastly, the butterscotch pots de creme was heavenly. It was rich and had a lovely balance with the cookies, cream, and salt. We will certainly be back! Read more
