Reviews for Japanica Steakhouse & Sushi Bar in Tallahassee, FL
Me and a friend had lunch here after church recently. Kids eat free on Sundays which is great. The specialty rolls come with a... free traditional roll and they were very tasty. Our server was new and gave a kinda stoner vibe and you could tell it was hisfirst job waiting tables but he was super friendly and was trying his best. I hope he is still there and doing well. I'm not toopicky or critical when it comes to my dining experience and we enjoyed our meal and our visit here. Would deffinitly go back. Read more

The wait for the hibachi was a little long but that was mothers day so it was expected. The service was good, out waitress was a... little busy so she forgot a few things but the chef was great and the food was awesome. My first time to a hibachi place, myfamily had a great time. They did charge us for the kids even though it was Sunday where kids eat free. Read more
Not busy at all on a Sunday night. My family of 6 was seated rather quickly. Hibachi is always worth the price of admission.... Food was on point. Chef did the normal tricks but it never gets old when you have young kids. Read more

Pretty sub par. We went for Hibachi. The noodles seemed... cheap, if that makes sense. The cook was nice but never offered saki... not once. My father-in-laws steak was over cooked (he asked for medium rare). If your wanting a "cheaper" Hibachi option thenthis is great. My husband and I both got Hibachi, he even got a combo platter and we both got some sushi. It came out it be only$60. Somewhere like Nagoya or Osaka would have easily been $100+. I guess you get what you pay for. Read more
