Definitely more of a to-go establishment with very limited seating (3 outdoor 4 tops and 2-3 indoor 2 tops) but most of the food... we had was pretty dang good, was also pricey. They do have a drive through which I didn?t know! Didn?t expect to spend as muchas I did especially since I almost didn?t get to sit and eat. Staff was extremely friendly. Food came out pretty quick. Thenaked birdie and the hot birdie were great! The fries also great but unexpectedly spicy, my daughter couldn?t eat them. Maybe Icould ask for no seasoning for her fries next time. The Mac and cheese was decent. The pickles, YUM!!! They have a ton of saucesbut they are almost a dollar each and come in larger portions than I feel necessary, wish they had a smaller option. They havelocal beer and some on draft! The biggest issue was with the chicken tenders. My daughter is young and very picky so tenders andfries were all that she would eat on the menu. The tenders were so greasy, had to use multiple napkins, also the breading wasfalling off. I would definitely go back for the sandwiches. Read more
I was hesitant to come here for lunch based off previous reviews. I ordered the Hot Birdie bundle. It was $15 and some change... after I left a tip. My food came out very quick. I came around 1:15, got my food, ate my food, and left at 1:45. The sandwichand the fries both came out hot (I note this because I saw previous reviews stating their fries were cold). I thought everythingwas very good! I typically don't like coleslaw but tried it on the sandwich anyway and was pleasantly surprised. It did have alittle kick to it which I loved. The chicken in the sandwich is a good size too. The fries although good could have used alittle less salt but this was something very minor. I think the price is fair but with them being priced similar to a restaurantI wouldn't come here as often for lunch. Read more
There are a lot of chicken sandwiches out there these days but Hot Birdie?s really stands out. The signature sandwich is... certainly spicy, balanced by pickles and slaw. They clearly use real chicken and make their stuff in house rather than flashfrozen fryer dipped factory chicken filets. An awesome local start up! Read more

Nestled into a former dry cleaner store front with a drive thru, the Birdie's crew produces 4varieties of amazing chicken sandwiches. I had the Hot Birdie with a mouth tingling Nashville Hot butter sauce, spicy mayo, slawand spicy pickles. This is the best Nashville Hot chicken sandwich I have ever tasted. For those who prefer a less spicysandwich, Birdie's also offers the Buffalo Birdie, the Bacon Ranch Birdie and for plainer (but delicious tastes) a Naked Birdie.See picture for sandwich descriptions. I'll have to admit, I fell victim to the hype going around campus. I went in very excited to try this brand new chicken shop and... was severely disappointed. For starters, my fries were cold, and I even ate them right after receiving them from the drive thru.I didn't let that ruin my experience though because ultimately it's all about the chicken sandwich. This is when bad turned toworse. I ate my sandwich and while it was hot, it lacked flavor and had virtually no spice level. While I wasn't expecting agourmet meal, I was at least hoping it would be better than a Chic Fil A sandwich. I don't plan on returning and wouldn'trecommend it to any of my friends. Read more
Tried the Hot Birdie Chicken sandwich. I give the sandwich 5 stars but I can't understand why I received a hot sandwich but cold... fries... If you're gonna staple the bag closed, at least have the decency to give your patron hot fries along with their hotsandwich! I'll definitely try the sandwich again but skip the fries. Read more
Went to hot Birdie today and got the food to go. My husband ordered chicken tenders, fries and I got a hot birdie sandwich. My... sandwich is so greasy, the bottom bread is soaked in greasy and sauce. The chicken tender my husband ordered?.. we are reallydisappointed about this one. The chicken tenders does not has any flavors, the batter fell off. The Fries are wet and soggy. Allin all, we are not really happy about the food we ordered. Read more
The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was not far off of Hattie B?s in Nashville! No joke, I thought it was about that good. This... place is the real deal! My buddy is convinced they have the best chicken sandwich in town and they just might. The mac andcheese was incredible, and the fries were really good too! If you want to try Nashville style chicken, this is about as good asyou?ll get this side of Tennessee. Read more
