My husband ordered a couple of pies for dinner last night, and they must have had a bumpy ride because they were all crumpled in... the corner of the box when he opened them. My pizza was more mixed up than his, and it had cost a bit, so he called to see ifthey could fix it. The lady who answered the phone was super nice and friendly! She totally understood what happened and offeredto make it right by a refund or a remake. Since they were still open for another hour at that point, my husband opted for theremake. The delivery driver came with our perfect replacement pizzas very quickly and took back the crumpled ones. You can'tbeat friendly and fast customer service! We order from here often because, even though it's a little more expensive than otherpizza joints, we especially like their signature pies and the quality is always great. Plus, it's locally owned/operated and -like most of Tallahassee - we love to support the little guy. Keep up the great work! Read more

We decided to finally try Gaines Street Pies. With the creative topping combinations, we were excited to try a specialty pizza.... Using the website to order was a little confusing due to the different descriptions of the items. The pizza we ordered wasapparently a pizza with no type of sauce on it, but I did not see that in the description. We did not enjoy the pizza because ofthat issue (just a personal preference). Maybe another pizza will be better? I will say that when we asked for a replacementtopping on a specialty pizza it was done correctly without extra charge. We ordered the speciality pizza that had sausage, creamcheese, and candied jalapeños (switched out the sausage). The delivery was quick. The pizza options were unique and creative.For the size of the pizza, it was a little pricey. The cream cheese on the pizza was different and delicious! Overall, we maynot order again because the item description did not explain everything. For the price, we do not want another surprise. Read more

The pizza here is some of the best in town. Crispy thin crust that holds up well to extra cheese and toppings. Highly recommend... the Capital Circle NE location. Read more

Toppings appear to just be piled on, but the issue was the pizza is effectively just raw and barely cooked. As a premium local... place that costs more than major brands or even build your own franchises, I'm shocked at the incredibly poor attention todetail that a basically uncooked pizza would be served. I try to buy local but with the price I expect a similar quality tomomo's or decent pizza. Read more

One of the best pizza's I have had in Tallahassee! I had the smitty, which is a pepperoni pizza with Sriracha in the sauce and... let me tell you was I thoroughly satisfied! Most pizza in this town tastes like tomato paste on cardboard but this reminded meof pizza I had while in New York. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the garlic knots were overdone and they took waylonger than expected but it was their first busy Friday after lockdown so I'm not going to hold it against them.
