Cute restaurant in a surprising location. In the end of the plaza that is filled with medical offices, there is The Freshroots... Kitchen. They offer creative sandwiches and salads, coffee, and sides. Seating indoors and outdoors. After ordering our food atthe counter, we choose to sit under the shade trees at the tables in the grass. (Watch out for ants in a few spots). The foodwas ready in about 10 minutes. The Jammin' sandwhich with coleslaw. The Sweetie sandwhich with Gouda mac and cheese. The sweetiewas definitely sweet almost like a dessert. The Jammin' was delicious with bacon jam, cheese, and jalapeños (plus more!). Ifyou are thinking about stopping here at the unassuming restaurant, I highly recommend that you do. The service was friendly andthe food is amazing. Read more
I have to stop myself from ordering from Freshroots multiple times in one week! My favorite is the Asian cabbage salad (not sure... of the exact name). The peanut dressing is some of the best I?ve ever had. My fiancè loves the buffalo melt sandwich. Love thislocal restaurant so much. Definitely a hidden treasure! Read more

In the past they have been fast and very good. We went today and it was slow. We placed our order for dine in at 12:05 and ended... up having to ask for to go at 12:40, then got our order of 2 sandwiches and a bake Gouda Mac and cheese, 5 minutes later. My daughter and I found this little piece of heaven today. Their menu is amazing, the staff was super friendly and very helpful... with walking you through a first time order. The pricing in on point. We both had a meal and drinks for less than $23. Nice laidback atmosphere. Extremely clean, and the best thing was it was KETO FRIENDLY!! We will definitely be going back!! I can in around 10:45 on a Tuesday. It was very quiet, and the place is tucked away. They had a sign saying they needed staff... for both front and back of house and I could tell, but my service was great. A scrumptious little spot! This is my absolute favorite place to get a light lunch and my all time favorite salad - the Black & Blue Caesar. I?ve never had... a better tasting salad. The dressing is creamy and the Gorgonzola is delicious. When I go with my friend she always gets theLoaded Chicken Salad Salad and it?s almost just as good. So fresh and flavorful. We decided to share a melt the last time wewent and each had half of a Horsey Melt, it was so good! Very soft and cheesy with plenty of meat. I will always recommend thisplace to everyone! Read more
