first time coming here and the food (Gran Chico) was great! the mexican 75 and white sangria were awesome as well.
Good food. Had the taco kit and everything was tasty. I think it would stretch what they served to try to actually make 12... tacos... but all the fixings were nice. Adding a bowl of guacamole or refried beans would add a little more value to a priceyitem. Be ready to wait a little. Read more

Went based on a friends recommendation. Thought well here goes nothing spending $45 on tacos, but I ll give it a shot. So... stopped and picked up the 12 Tacos Kit to go box and an order of queso with the chorizo and smoked jalapeño. I called at 6pm,they answered the phone immediately, they were cheerful and polite, even checked with the kitchen to verify how long it wouldbe. Said 20 to 30 mins, I was there in 25 and it was ready. Even after the 15min ride home. Food was fresh and still prettydamn warm. All I can say is dammmnnn! This food was fantastic unique and flavorful. All the accompaniments you could want,salsas that were awesome. Grilled chicken was great and the Al Paster and Potato Chorizo were amazing. The chips were crisp andfresh and have a great flavor by themselves and queso was unreal. A ton of food, this will feed 4 easy giving you your money'sworth. Wonderful atmosphere and great service from the waitress/waiter. I was disappointed in the food. The tacos were cold, greasy and... wet (not in a good way), and I didn't like the corn. I was unaware that they charged for lemonade refill. Overly priced forsubpar food. 2 stars bc staff was nice and very chilled atmosphere. Read more
Great food and unique drinks. I tried qn assortment of different tacos and they were all tasty and authentic.
Went here with my partner and another couple tonight. We had a couple drinks queso and guacamole as an appetizer and got tacos... each. I had the cocinero classic marg which was good, but I LOVED their seasonal rosemary apricot drink. Our server recommendedmixing in the rosemary infused whip cream into the drink which gives it a creamsicle feel. It was sooo good. Excellentrecommendation. Would definitely get this again. I got the fried fish taco which was my favorite, I enjoyed the buffalocauliflower taco, but it was pretty spicy. The shrimp picante taco was disappointing for me but everything else was great.Definitely one of my best trips to El Cocinero. This was my first time back since they moved. I can't remember our waitressesname but she was very sweet and apologized about a large 15 top she had that she was trying to close out. Her service was stillvery attentive and she was very friendly. Food was good. Menu is interesting. Terrible service. We were there an hour, 2 feet away from 4 employees that were talking. It... wasn't busy. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks, refills on waters...Nothing. We had to interrupt the conversation toorder and again to get the check.
