Very nice cafe. Cute and quiet inside with indoor or outdoor seating options. We sat outside and we were surrounded by... delightful hanging succulent planters and oscillating fans to help keep the area cool. The food came out quickly and wasdelicious. I did receive a silverware bundle with a knife that was not clean, a bit of a bummer. The fork did the job well so,it wasn't the end of the world.. I was excited to try the "Churro waffle", and super happy I did. The waffle was very light /fluffy and not too sweet for me. I did share a piece of waffle and was told it was a bit too sweet for their taste... So, howmuch you like the waffle will for sure depend on your taste preference. Our server was pleasant and just the right amount ofhelpful. He really did help make the visit an enjoyable experience . Canopy Road Cafe is worth the stop. We arrived for a late lunch and were greeted and seated quickly. The food was delicious and hot! The fried potatoes were crispy... outside and warm softness inside. My black and blue burger could have used some more blue cheese, but it was delicious! Mama wasvery pleased with her choice too. There was enough that she definitely was getting two meals. The hollandaise sauce was perfectand mama loved the pimento cheese. Love this place and we will be back soon! We came back 5/28/22. My husband said never again.His breakfast food was cold and he had to listen regional manager yell and fuss at the kitchen staff. We shouldn't have opted tosit at the bar. For the record, there was plenty of staff, they were being mismanaged. Also, if anyone with the restaurant readsthis... we would rather have the food hot and show up a piece at a time than cold and all together. The chicken in my salad washard and the cranberries were too hard to eat. More like dried jerky than raisins. Read more
I was very pleasantly surprised with the food. It was all delicious. I got the chorizo Mexican omelette and it was so well... flavored. The home fries were really just fried potato cubes - but they were very good. The fruit plate was fresh and tasty aswell. The service was good. We sat outdoors and that was really nice. We had a great visit today for breakfast. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was excellent. All the plates looked very nice.... Perfectly cooked eggs! Restaurant was very busy. Entire meal took us about an hour. Part of that was us struggling to decide onour meals- so many great options. We were on vacation but will definitely visit again if we're in the area. Read more
Love their breakfast for lunch. If your on keto I recommend the Surfer Girl omelette with broccoli instead of hash browns or... grits and a side of hollandaise sauce. They also have outside seating should you choose. Read more
