Sweet beet station is a friendly place with good food, coffee beverages and great cookies. There's a moderate amount of indoor... seating, as well as tables around the building. Service is good and food is also. Read more

I must confess to disappointment with this place. I had been looking forward to trying SBS, and I wanted very much to like the... food. The food was... OK. With no other considerations on the table, the food earns three stars. If I generally do better in myown kitchen, but I have done worse, the score is middling. So three it is. Good chile verde is unusual, and I did not find ithere. The texture of the pork was pleasing, but the flavor was quite bland. There was more spinach than meat in the bowl. Thisis fine, I like spinach. But I did not order a salad. For the cost of my meal I could have purchased the ingredients for chileverde at MOC and fed four people with it. With no salad, admittedly. I enjoy restaurants where the kitchen does things I can?tdo because of economies of scale, or because I lack the talent. SBS falls into neither category. The Bloody Mary was anotherstory. SBS flavors their mix with (what else?) beet juice, giving it a bright strontium hue. The palate is not sure what toexpect when the eye sees this color, and the disconnect makes it tough to enjoy your cocktail. The garnish was olives, celery, apepperoncini, and pickled asparagus. Trying to keep an open mind, I ate the asparagus. I don?t recommend this. It was all Icould do to keep it down, and I came to regret the effort later. I left a 10% tip, which seemed reasonable for the service. Youpay before you eat, you bus your own table, and nobody comes to see how the food tastes after bringing it to you. This is abare-bones dining experience for medium money. Caveat Emptor. Read more

We went for brunch and had such a good experience! We got the mimosa liter and which was super good! Both of us had the classic... breakfast sandwich which was delicious but next time we go we?ll be adding either the bacon or sausage. The side salad isAMAZING as was the fruit that came with. Overall the restaurant just has a really great vibe :) Read more

In town to help family members move and went to breakfast here. All 4 of us agreed it was the best breakfast we?d had in a long... time! Super fresh, great flavors, nice sides that made it special (salad & fruit bowl). Biscuits and gravy (mushroom) wasphenomenal! Cute location. This will be on our short list when we visit Talent/Ashland again. Slam dunk, can?t miss goinghere. Read more

I?m really not sure what people like about this place. All three orders had a different mistake. Not really a big deal. The... food, however, was the most underwhelming experience I have ever had. All three of us struggled to get through part of ourmeal. Chili verde burrito was under seasoned in every aspect. I?m also not really sure how you get stewed pork in verde to bedry, but they accomplished it. Half a plate of mixed greens with a terrible vinaigrette. It honestly tasted like hospital food. The only redeeming quality was the patio which is ok. Read more

Loved this place. People are great. The decor is adorable. They have healthy options. I asked if they'd make my breakfast... sandwich with eggwhites instead of eggs and they totally did. I wish they had some healthier coffee options though (nonfat milk, sugar free syrups). My coworker and I had a last minute meeting to provide snacks for. They helped us rapidly put togethersome coffee cambros, cookies and supplies for it. They were so kind and helpful. Really loved them! Read more

One of the few spots open for breakfast at 8am. Great vegetarian selection. Groovy, chill music going like James Taylor and... such. Coffee was tasty and well complimented by the morning light coming through the window onto my table. The Staff wasfriendly and helpful. Service was fast. Read more
