I ordered soul food from here. I got a lemonade, two fried pork chops with macaroni and yams, and a brownie. The lemonade was... very good and a great combination between sweet and sour. The brownie could?ve done without the frosting on top but was verygood when warmed up in the microwave. Now the pork chops, amazing, they were cooked nicely and seasoned perfectly. I asked forwhite bread with my pork chops so I could make a sandwich and they only gave two slices I wish I could?ve had four so I couldmake a sandwich for both slices but it?s not that big of a deal. The servings of yams and macaroni were huge and I got full offof those, while still having plenty of leftovers. I have ordered breakfast from this location several times and the food has been hot, fresh, and very tasty. I was not sure if I... wanted to order from here because I have never eaten there food. However, I took a chance and can say that I was very satisfiedwith my choice of food and store. Ordered delivery via Uber eats. Fast pickup and the food was well wrapped to prevent spilling. Food was just okay, not the worst... but wouldn?t order again. Chicken liver was decent, but the coating/deep frying masks the liver taste so if you?re looking forthat, I would pass on this dish. Clam chowder was good; cornbread was average. Didn?t like the sauce on the green beans - toosweet. Green beans were also dry inside. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes - slightly below average and both a little dry. Cabbagewith carrots was excellent! Here is a restaurant that makes simple food taste amazing. I ordered a Turkey club sandwich from them and I definitely got more... bang for my buck, they were very generous with the amount of meat on the sandwich and the presentation was pristine. This is arestaurant that clearly cares about even the simplest things and that definitely makes them standout. Read more
Bless food delivery especially in this heat. That said, I have yet to visit this place personally but I need to simply to thank... them and shake their hand. The food is always fresh, tasty and in HUGE portions (at least mine is, per other reviews I've read).My last order was the fried pork chop dinner. The amount of sides I received made it possible for me to split this into 2orders. I can never decide on dessert so I usually order at least 2. I didn't realize that they sub'd one my desserts until Iwas reviewing them and I didn't care. The sub suffices. ???? Keep up the good work Southern by Mid Atlantic. The food at Mid Atlantic Seafood was so good I ordered a second time in a short period of time. My first order was fish and... turkey wings with Collard greens steam cabbage potatoes and gravy and corn. The portions of food was enough for two meals. Thefood was Perfectly cooked. My second order consisted of Fried pork chops fried chicken collard greens sweet potatoes macaroniand cheese and cabbage. Once again I had enough food for two meals each. Recently, I was perusing Door Dash. It was early afternoon, but I was in the mood for breakfast. One of the choices that... popped up was Breakfast by Mid Atlantic. Never having heard of it, I looked over the menu and everything looked so good. Notonly that, but they had items that aren?t normally found on delivery sites, like scrapple, grits, coffee cake, grape juice,banana pudding, etc., all things that out a smile on my face. So, I made my choices and placed my order! The food arrivedquicker than I anticipated, and there was enough there for two meals. I was super excited. I happily dug in and I wasn?t theleast bit disappointed!! I?ve ordered from there a few more times, so far, and it?s always good. Today, I had leftovers fromthe other day, popped them in the oven for a bit, and they were as good, if not better, than the day I got them! If you haven?ttried this place yet, you definitely should! I have chosen take out the two times that I have actually gone to the restaurant. I have also ordered delivery. The portions... are REALLY great! You definitely get what you pay for. My only issue is, that when you go there, they seem to pay more attentionto the orders that are phoned in, and leave you standing to wait to place an order. The other thing that I do appreciate, isthat if you order fried fish, you have to wait because IT IS PREPARED FRESH! DEFINITELY A PLUS!! Read more
