This place is really good. Four of us stayed at a Airbnb down the street. We were concerned as there was one negative review .... We took a chance and the food was really good. Each order was very large and none of us could clear our plates there was so muchfood. Our wait person was Jennifer she was fantastic. Super friendly and she knew the menu and made good suggestions for us. Wewill definitely come back again to try all the food on the menus. Very good. Read more
Would have scored 4 stars for the food - but when we came to pay, they told us that they would not accept any Mastercard issued... by Apple. I have NEVER heard of any shop or restaurant refusing to accept a single financial institution’s credit card - theysaid they would accept other Mastercards. Was embarrassing and the server could provide no reason other than “their systemwouldn’t accept it”. Very poor. Especially in California. Read more
I had the sirloin and my wife had the prime rib. They were prepared perfectly. We started with the delicious cocktail shrimp... appetizer, and finished with Strawberry cheesecake! Everything tasted great and we would definitely recommend eating here. Itwas a bit pricey, but we'll worth it. We will be back next time we are in Tahoe! Read more

Great steaks with a great view! A little bit pricey, but it is worth the money. This is the 2nd time that I have been here for... dinner, and the meals are very good. My friends and I will certainly be coming back. All of us had steaks but me, I had the lambshank. The appetizers were executed perfectly, and we had a Cesar's salad and shrimp cocktail to start. Good steaks. Reasonable price. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere - a lot of people don't expect this but you get great views of... the lake from inside, good tip is to go at sunset and ask for a window table. Overall would go back! Read more
Very nice place. The steaks and other dishes were excellent and the service was very good. The portions are huge so most people... should split what they order. It can be very expensive so look and add it up first so you're not surprised. The reason for thetwo star deduction was because more than half of our party had diarrhea after eating there. Maybe from the salad or the dessert.Everything else was cooked. I believe this was an isolated incident. Since I did not get sick I will go back sometime, skip thesalad and dessert, and enjoy a perfect steak with a good red wine. Read more
Staff was friendly and very polite and knowledgeable of the menu. Steak was cooked perfectly, asked for medium rare and got true... medium rare. New York steak was firm but tender as it should be, steaks had a good char on them. Cesar salad was good (I've hadbetter but it was good). Wife said they don't water down their drinks. Home made cheesecake was ????????????! Best I have everhad hands down. We even came back a couple nights later to get a cheese cake to go. We will definitely come back. Read more
