Went in for lunch for the first time last Saturday looking at the menu that look like your typical bar food and they had a... special on a 12 oz New York Steak $22, I have seen sports bar States before so I took a hard pass and went for "The Big One"burger well my friend did order the steak and added a potato chip appetizer. Whatever I'm not really a potato chip guy. Within afew minutes the appetizer of potato chips arrived they were steaming hot in a basket with some fancy dip sauce (thousandIslands?with a kick) OMG they were awesome. Then came my burger and her New York. Immediately I noticed it was a nice cut ofmeat (not your typical flash Frozen steak that came out of a cardboard box of 100 then when she cut into it showing a perfectlydone medium rare I was kicked myself for not ordering the same for myself. Camille also included a nice size chef salad and ahuge baked potato with all the toppings. Jealous I was right up until I took the first bite out of my"big one" which along withthe half pound patty? There was bacon Canadian bacon and two perfectly done over easy eggs. When I say perfectly done the eggswere cooked just long enough to not have all the yolk run down your fingers as you tried to eat this Mammoth sandwich. The caseof each one of the meats really stood out and they had just the perfect amount of seasonings to make each one sparkle. If you like dive bar food this place does a good job. The lunch/dinner menu has a good variety of tasty options. Everything has... generous portions. Service has overall been good on both dine in and takeout. Inside can get very crowded on Friday and Saturdaynights, I've only gotten takeout in the last couple of years so I'm not sure if it still gets that crowded. I don't think I'veever ordered breakfast here, but I've never been disappointed with anything on the lunch/dinner menu and I've eaten many of theoptions. Read more
We?ve been eating at this restaurant for years. We were a weekly customer during the pandemic. Never had bad service. Walked in... tonight and sat down. Our waitress made eye contact with us and did not come back to our table. She took time to have a sidebarconversation with another staff person about personal issues and then went and checked on other customers. Passed 6 times. Didnot stop. No one else did either. We are very patient when servers make mistakes or when food is even a little mediocre and wetip well always, but we will not tolerate being ignored. We won?t be back. Heard about this place from friends. Stopped by because we had a flat tire on Highway 16 and this was across the street from the... tire repair shop. Food portions are huge. I had burger and jojo?s. There was more meat than bun. Will definitely come back. Read more
First time eating here, we were in the area for an appointment nearby. The food was good and our waitress was really nice, I... just wish she would have come by more than once. The one time she did come by was right after we got out food. We could haveused drink refills a little later in the meal but weren't asked. I had the Godfather and it was good. My wife had a grilledchicken sandwich and all though there was a lot of chicken, the chicken itself wasn't the great. Read more
