Finally tried it this place: super glad we stopped by for a late lunch. COVID had really stopped us from trying so many places,... but they have the outdoor and open-window seating I so desperately wish the rest of Tacoma had. The menu looks great: salads,sandwiches, even entrees and appetizers with a Mediterranean feel. Good variety. Espresso, wine, beer on tap, really everythingpacked into a cute neighborhood cafe. Was a very quaint, decorative little Cafe. Went there with my Mother. The wait staff was very friendly and would come to check... on us. I ordered an appetizer of Spinach artichoke dip which came put hot! Was small but fresh. Then I ordered a garden saladand my mother got one of the entree salads with bacon. They were generous portions. For my entree I got a chicken pot piewhich came out hot and fresh! It was good size and crisp out of the oven. The wait was a little long but if you are orderingfrom a smaller Cafe where they cook instead of just microwaving it is going to take longer. It was worth the wait! The onlyreason I am giving 4 not five is because there was a mixup with the order but they were able to quickly resolve it and get thecorrect food out. Okay so I just had THE MOST divine meal. Service was impeccable, quality ingredients, super flavorful? Friends, I?m not gonna... lie, I got emotional while telling the server how amazing it was. Ugh! What a world we?re living in where I?m getting teary eyedover a dining out experience. Best Americana meal I?ve had in Tacoma since Covid. If you get the pear salad, please do yourselfa favor and elevate it with an additional side of BC dressing along WITH the vinaigrette it comes with. So good! Read more
