Menu for My Philly in Tacoma, WA

Is it fair to review and or judge a restaurant serving food that is a representation of another region. Of course it is! In this... case My Philly nails the basics while offering a gargantuan helping. I am so glad I worked out this morning for 2 hours. Iordered the full size original philly with thin ribbons of juicy steak, buttery melty onions and just enough fat from the cheeseto seal the deal. Oh, did I mention the uber soft roll that houses this masterpiece? Side note: I paired it with a glass ofmalbec...the owner came out to check on me and I shared my delight and was very thankful for his venture. I wish My Philly greatsuccess! Next time, I am bringing a Cabernet Franc and 2 glasses????????... I'm not from Philly but I am a big fat guy that loves cheese steaks and believe me when I tell you that these are the best... you're gonna find in Tacoma. Top 3 in all of Washington. SOFT bread not that toasted nonsense. Finely shaved perfectly charredbeef. Juices running all over the place. Onions grilled immaculately. Nice fat guy portion that is fairly priced. I heard about this place and had to check it out for myself, and boy oh boy this place did not disappoint their are nice and big... and loaded with meat. My mother's side is from Philadelphia. I was raised on the delicious foods from the east coast. Living here it's hard to find... those staples, this place was the closest place I have found that brings me close to Philly food. Now start selling tasty cakesand we will be in real business ????. I bought a full sandwich and it was delicious, and actually filled for the price youcan't beat it. The other place I tried (go Philly) isn't even near the quality this place gives.
