Absolutely the lightest, flakiest eggrolls and orange chicken. The teriyaki was perfect. I grew up in Seattle, but now live... in Kansas City, where they do NOT understand teriyaki. Whenever I visit Washington, I get teriyaki, and this place wasamazing. There's not a lot of seating, so they do a lot of take out business (it took about 30 minutes to get our food becausethe kitchen was backed up with take out, so you may want to order ahead.) Got the house fried rice with chicken, pork and shrimp and literally only got 3 shrimp! Had I known that?s all I would have... gotten I would have picked something else besides shrimp. Read more
My favorite place in Tacoma... actually probably all of Washington. You can even buy the in house made teriyaki sauce for 6... bucks for later use at home. I always order the teriyaki pork and tofu combo for 15$ and have plenty left over for another meal. Read more

Teriyaki was good. Orange chicken absolutely horrible. About 95% of my "chicken" was overcooked and dried out if the pieces even... contained chicken. I would estimate about 80% was breading. The only thing edible was the rice. There was barely any sauce. Sodry. Please refer to the photos. Extremely disappointed as they are very friendly but the food was a huge disappointment. Theshort ribs which cost a whopping 16.50 also barely had any meat. Most of the bones only had about a half inch. You get probably1 full set of a short rib with meat then they throw in tailings of remnants. Read more

I believe this restaurant is the BEST! I ordered ?Chicken Teriyaki?, ?Pork Fried Rice?, ?Beef Yakisoba? and spicy beef... vegetables one for my family. Each food is very soft, fresh, REALLY TASTY and comes out fast! Not too sweet, not too salty, nottoo spicy. My family always love to eat it :-) The restaurant is clean and fancy. Price is good. And the owner lady at thecounter, she is very kind and nice. She always makes my day! I recommend you try Mama?s. You won?t be disappointed! Read more
