I?ve ordered take out from this place many times (ps: the tofu banh mi is to die for) but this was my first time dining in. It... is a small little place downstairs but it still felt plenty spacious. The tables were half full when we arrived. Despite this,we were seated and brought water immediately. We then had our order placed quickly and had our food not too long after. Weordered the vegan pho which was so remarkable we discussed the incredible broth the entire way home. We also got the vegan ricecrepe which is now my new favorite (bye bye banh mi). It was packed with mushrooms, tofu, and bean sprouts. I inhaled it-despite the generous portion and wanted more. The thai teas with coconut milk were also exceptional. I found this Vietnamese gem restaurant in Tacoma after asking my friend. They have incredible decorations with a cozy and... chilling vibe. The bar is upstairs, and there is a small restaurant downstairs. The staff is super attentive and polite tocustomers. We got two Bun Thit Nuong #23 and a Meat Ball Pho. I live very close to this restaurant so I come here for dine-in and takeout all the time. Wonderful food and reasonable prices... for 2022. The fact they?re open till 2 am is also wonderful. It?s great to just walk over, pick up lunch for myself and mygirlfriend, and bring it back home on low-energy days, and to take friends out for a drink in the bar on higher energy days.Would definitely recommend trying the banh mi and asking for a fried egg in it - really makes it another level. :) Read more
Never been here before, but it did not disappoint! Our waiter did a great job, didn?t catch his name tho, he was attentive... enough but not overbearing; it took a few times of coming back to finally take our order cuz we kept talking????oops. Hesuggested a certain margarita that was awesome but it had a purple look to it I thought, I?ll have to ask my date if knows whatflavor it was. Yummy! Then we both ordered the salmon cuon which is spring rolls, so yummy!! Loved the sauce. Great amount andvery decently priced. We closed out the patio up too which has three tables. Got some takeout for lunch at work! Food was very tasty, fresh, and well made. Really wish I could have received more peanut... sauce though. The beef skewers were so tender, flavorful, and juicy. Read more

Then a miracle happened! La Cà Bar caught my attention with the 2nd floor bar while being able to servedelicious, authentic Vietnamese dishes. Located deep in Tacoma, surrounded by a residential neighborhood, La Cà Bar offers agreat selection of adult beverages, with a decent variety of menu options. Greeted with a friendly hostess and great servicetheir 1st Floor dining area remained clean, with an amazing atmosphere. La Cà Bar is a very good Vietnamese restaurant with a wide menu, and really nice atmosphere and staff. Of course it is pricier... than just a pho place, but it *is* a nicer place. They have a 21+ side and stay open very late which is a huge binus (????-)???? Read more
