The staff have really gotten the dishes consistently good for the most part. The price for chowder is too high and they no... longer serve oyster crackers with it. I did recently receive coleslaw without dressing. But I know that if I brought it to theattention of one the managers they would have made it right. Read more

Was impressed for some of the fastest seafood I could get. The Clam chowder was amazing and the sourdough bread bowl it was... served in had kept the chowder super hot for several minutes and for a time, I didn't think it was going to cool off. The Fishand Chips are also amazing. Read more

We come here often with mixed results. It?s my mom?s favorite fast food restaurant so i like keeping her happy. I am currently... waiting for an order I placed about 25 minutes ago, with no one else in the drive thru and a very basic order. They also alwaysplace cold food in with the hot food, cheap when bags are a minimal cost. Not sure when I?ll come back, I was not even offeredan apology for the very long wait. Unhappy. Read more
I live Ivar's but didn't know any were in Tacoma. Glad I stumbled upon this gem. Clean interior friendly staff. Across the... street from Tacoma Community College next to Rite Aid. They have a coke freestyle machine, very handy for those of us thatlike to mix our own sodas. The clam basket and a cup of chowder is still the best lunch. Read more
We love it! I grew up in Seattle with Ivar's as the go to place for fish and chips. So it was a natural shift to a Tacoma... location. The food was brought to the table by a staff member, and everyone was very nice at this location. There is adrive-thru if inside dining doesn't fit the bill. Read more
