I was disappointed on this particular visit, which saddens me, as I am normally very happy when I dine here. My food on this... particular outing was mediocre at best. My server was very pleasant, although after she sat me and gave me a menu to peruse, sheinformed me that she'd be back to take my order after she went to the bathroom. That was absolutely way to much information. Itcertainly didn't help my appetite any when it was at least 15 minutes before she returned to actually take my order. Since Iwas the only customer in the restaurant, I would've much preferred to have a server who didn't just return from the bathroom. Read more
We had the worst experience at this IHOP of any we've ever eaten at. First, we showed up to the restaurant around 8 pm, and it... only had two tables with customers in them. But we were told it would be a 25 minute wait to be seated. My family and I choiceto wait but we watched as the woman who would end up being our server (Cynthia) keep telling every customer who came in after usthat it would be 45 minutes to an hour just to be seated in an empty restaurant. In total while we wait we saw 15 customersleave to eat elsewhere. When were finally seated Cynthia took our order in a timely fashion, but she didn't write anything down.As a result, my wife's order was messed up. Next she never came back to check on how the food was. My son's pancakes weren'teven cooked all the way through, and the middle was just liquid batter covered in whip cream. Finally, we had to ask Cynthia forour bill, and had to stand at the front counter while she spent her time sitting in a booth just to the right of the counter notten feet away talking to another customer ignoring us. This is the worst IHOP I have ever been in, the wait was unbelievably long, there was a bunch of empty tables(mind you there was... about only four tables that were occupied) but me and my family got placed in the very back right next to the bathrooms. Wedidn't mind that much since we just wanted to grab something quick to eat. The waitress was nice enough, but the food was blandand left a bad taste in your mouth. The ambience of the place was extremely deppresing and quite disappointing. We only ordereddessert and we were there for almost two hours. You leave wishing you never came in the first place. See the photos, if it is in public view imagine how will the kitchen be? We will never come back to this place, it is one of... the dirtiest and most run down places I have ever seen in any type of restaurant. When we ordered the food they didn't have manythings because they ?changed the menu? that's what the waitress told us, practically I asked the waitress it's better that youtell us what you have and we decide what we eat based on what you guys have. After she brought us food, she never, ever cameback to see if we needed anything, water, more coffee or just to ask if we needed something. She just came back with the ticketand asked us ?do you need anything? boxes or something? I told her ?I wanted more coffee but you never came back but thank youvery much.? You can clearly see the work ethic this place has or management style they have, I am sure their is good workersthere but the conditions of this restaurant says a lot. The food is good but service is bad what happened to my old store (I used to manage this store years ago)? I recently moved back... to the area figured id stop in to my old store and see some familiar faces boy was I wrong. Tables filthy waited 13 min to beseated upon being seated and I got my first cup of coffee which I didnt receive a refill until I was walking to the front of thestore. The ketchup bottle I received has a long black hair attached to it and I have short blonde hair. I couldnt add cream andsugar to my coffee until after my food came 20 min later because no silverware, by this point my coffee was cold. The sametables that were trashed when I came in are the same way when I left with more added on. Food is good service is terrible. Imshaking my head asking what happened to this store and the great staff that once worked here and took pride in the image of thecompany? No manager on site or too busy too be spoken to. SMH Read more
