This is such a fun, nostalgic, relaxing place to eat with fabulous service and food. Enjoy view of the Tacoma Waterfront,... outdoor dining is also offered. I can't say enough about one of the Managers, Michelle who put her own personal touch on ournight along with our fabulous waiter Andy. This is a must stop for a nice night out. Great local cuisine, my favorite, SilverSalmon with Huckleberry Sauce along with a delicious splash of orange. Yum!!! Read more

Absolutely fantastic. Came here with a party of 5 for a birthday, we were seated before our reservation because we ended up... showing up early. The customer service was absolutely incredible, and our waiter was ontop of it, quick on his feet, andextremely polite. The bread was delectable, perfectly baked, and warm when it arrived at our table. For the appetizer weordered calamari and it was, without exaggeration, the best calamari I have tried in my entire life. The entree came outextremely quickly. I ordered a scampi prawns and they were cooked to perfection. Soft, juicy, and full of flavor. The mashedpotatoes were creamy and delightful, and the green beans were simple, but a lovely supporting side to the main dish. To drink Iordered a Dark and Stormy with my entree, a cocktail that I have never tried before but absolutely adored. For dessert I gotmyself a Key Lime Martini, which while not being a real Martini, was the perfect light and sweet ending to what was one of thebest meals of my recent memory. Thank you to the staff of Harbor Lights for making this birthday special, and one I won't soonforget. Read more

We had a nice dinner on Saturday at Harbor Lights. My wife had a filet - and it was fantastic. Grilled outside, med-rare inside... as she likes, very tasty. She was super happy. I had Halibut - also nice. Potatoes were cooked well. They also had attentiveservers who were professional and Polite. The views of the sound are also notable. Big windows that they keep clean. Will beback. Read more

Me and my baby went there just to check it out and try something new, like we always do. And this spot did not disappoint us... other than it being tiny on the inside, well the whole place is small. It was big on flavor the people seemed to be reallyfriendly, and the staff was also great. The drinks were great and if you seen any of my other reviews I don't say that lightly. The small plates we had were bigger than I thought they were going to be. And they tasted delicious. Thumbs up to this placeand the water front, or on the water view help with the ambiance of the place. Just wish it was bigger and roomier. That was theonly down side tight spot. But great place to go if your on the waterfront in Tacoma. And not to pricey, good on the wallet???? ????. Read more

The girlfriend and I have driven by this place at least a million times so we decided to have a lunch date here. I was surprised... to see how big it was once we got inside. It's not like huge huge, but it was definitely spacious. I'm sure on a bright sunnyday it would be pretty packed. Even on a dreary day like today it was pretty. They have an open kitchen which my girlfriendespecially appreciated. Their menu was a pretty decent size and most items weren't crazy expensive, although one item was, crablegs, but then again, crab legs are always expensive wherever you go, I suppose. Most importantly, we would come back hereagain. I bet Dinner would be pretty spectacular here as well. Read more

My own experience was great at Harbor Lights. My issue was accommodations to food allergies that are not being made for... customers. Everything is fried together so someone with a shellfish allergy that wants fish and chips or just plain friescan’t have any. And the “accommodation” was something double the price. The location is great and the service was good butthings should be changed in the kitchen to accommodate. Read more

Although this is not the old Harbor Lights of the past now that Anthony's owns it, it is still really great, and the service was... extremely efficient and very attentive. I only mention this because I haven't had this perfect of service in quite some time. The cod fish and chips was fresh. Not a hint of any fishy smell, the halibut fish and chips was great as well. The calamari wasnicely portioned and tasted great. The drinks were decent as well, although not as reckless and over served like the good olddays. I will definitely be back as the prices were not as expensive as I imagined for what we purchased. It wasn't the best fishand chips, but the experience along with excellently prepared food and kind staff can't be missed.. Read more
