Checked this place out bc I was craving for some fried catfish. Got fish and chips =$12. The picture shows two whole fillet.... What you get are nuggets. That?s not the negative for me. What?s bad is how fishy the nuggets are. Both smell and taste. It wasso off putting. The corn mill breading has great flavor. It?s a shame the fish was fishy like that. Won?t be back. Read more

I got the fish and chips. The fish was perfectly seasoned, so yummy, but the fries were under-seasoned and pretty basic. The... fish and fries were perfectly fried, seriously! They were both so crispy and the perfect temperature. Nothing was soggy, greasyor burnt. The tartar sauce is good, but the portion is small. I will order 2 tartar sauces next time. The service was great?evenif the food had been bad, I would come back for the friendly cashier. I loved the cozy interior, and I wanted to look ateverything in there. Great place when you need fish! Holy WOW this place is great! Food is fantastic. Service is great. Portions are generous. I had the fish dinner and the... fries were hot fresh and crispy. The fish... oh lordy the FISH! So well battered and seasoned. Cooked to perfection. Mywife had the fish and shrimp plate. She said the shrimp was the best she has had in Washington. I had a side of friedoysters. They were seasoned and cooked to perfection as well. Crispy on the outside and hot and gooey inside. I live almostan hour away and will be willing to just drive here for this awesome little out of the way place. Read more
This is a very small place next to the hospital. Food is super fresh and made to order. We really enjoyed the catfish and... shrimp. Nowhere to sit right now as focus seems to be to go. We used the hood of our car as a table. Will definitely beback. Read more
My family and I have been going to fish house for years and it was always amazing . My bf moved here from ATL and he wanted... some fish and raved to him about how good the first house was and baybaaaaay let me tell you , it was a disappointment! Neverhave I been there and ordered a fish basket to come home and open up stale catfish nuggets . They even smelled old like thatgrease wasn?t changed for weeks . They were not hot although our food wasn?t even ready when we picked it up which usually meanswhen you wait it will be fresh and hot but I guess that wasn?t the case . The catch fish were nuggets not even a whole piece ofcatfish which I have never seems done there . Wings were salty and of course the fish sandwich had the same nuggets . Theshrimp was the best thing which wasn?t even that great abs the fries at no longer crinkle cut they are normal shoe strings whichwere only warm . Oh my goodness! What an amazing place this is. We were hungry, checked Google Maps for a fish place, reviews looked good so we... decided to come check it out. I am a Southern girl and this place took me back home on a food journey. The fish was HOT, Crispyand to die for. The fries were standard, but also hot and crispy. The hushpuppies were sooooooo good. Absolutely the best tasting food! The staff was awesome and made you actually feel welcomed. Found this little piece of heaven... by chance, on a trip from Arizona. I can't say enough good things about this place. Definitely worth the money, which wasn't asexpensive as I thought it would be. Will definitely come back here when up here again! Read more
