Reviews for Jin's Restaurant in Syracuse, UT
Jin and Sun-hee are the greatest! Tan tan men Ramen, level 1 spice, extra noodle. You won't find a greater dish in all of Utah.... I try to eat at as many new places as I can, and Jin's has them all beat by a mile. Read more
Very delishus food. Pretty overpriced for what you get. Like the amount of bulgogi we got for $18 made me wanna cry. And the... meat in the ramen was so good it made me roll over in my grave prematurely, but there was like 2 adult human bites ofit. Willyum and I got: Gyoza (*drools*) Beef bulgogi (aight, but not worth the price in our humble opinion) Tonkotsu ramen(soups good) Read more
My husband and I wanted to eat somewhere we haven't ate before and somewhere close to home. Jin's Restaurant was a really good... choice. We ordered our meals spicy. And it was spicy! I ended up ordering another plate because I wasn't in the mood forsomething quite so spicy. The food over all was really good. And the staff was very friendly. Small family owned business. Wewould recommend this place. Fried Gyoza Spicy Karaage Udon Bulgogi Beef, level 2 spice Deep Fried Chilly Chicken Read more
The food was good, don't get me wrong, but it gets three stars from me for the following reasons- 1. We had a hard time finding... the place because there was no apparent sign on the building whatsoever. (Its next to Farmers Insurance) 2. No pictures on aforeign food menu is tough. I have no idea what Katsu or Donburri is. So I had to ask the waitress a lot of questions, thankfully English was not a problem. 3. They had no side sauces for me to enhance the flavor of my Ramen. It's nothing to carrySriracha, Hoison or eel sauce for customers to personalize their meal to their liking. We got the Korean Hot Chicken (deliciousbut covered in red pepper flakes making it very, VERY spicy) and I added some of that sauce to the chicken Katsu Ramen broth andit made it perfect! The Ramen was great, just lacked a little flavor. The gyozas were good, but not anything I'll be daydreamingabout. ***If you liked my review or found it to be helpful give it a thumbs up. ???? thanks! Read more
This is a great place to eat! The staff was friendly and helpful. The cooks are the owners and they come and visit with you.... They really wanted us to be happy and we were. We had a special request for Gluten free food and they hooked us up and it wasdelicious. Read more
The food here was pretty good! It was our first experience, so I think we may need to go back again to try more things.... Definitely different, but not bad! I think it may take some getting used to. I tried the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was pretty yummy. The Pan Fried Gyoza was spot on--SO delicious. My husband got the Chicken Bul-Go-Gi and that was fantastic. Everything seemsvery healthy! I think what would make it better is if there were descriptions and pictures of what everything is on the menu. WeGoogled a lot of things and asked others what they normally get. I think that would help a lot for those of us who aren'tfamiliar with Korean food. Our server was also very attentive and the chefs were very happy and grateful. We will definitely becoming back. Not your traditional Korean place. The food here is very good and has some of the best chicken in the area. The Korean hot... chicken is very good and has a good heat with it. The Tang Soo chicken (sweet and sour) was very good and had a nice flavor toit. The Hell-ga pork we ordered was very spicy and be prepared as it will numb your taste buds if not careful, but still verygood. The rice is proper sticky rice that is very good and a step above most places. Would go here again and would order onemeat and one veggie dish next time as the meat dishes have no veggies with them. The the dumplings are very good and cookedperfectly. Read more
The service and atmosphere are great! It's clearly family owned, and they make you feel like family. Pan fried gyoza was fresh... and delicious. The tan tan men was really good, but don't get it if you don't like a lot of ground pork in your ramen. Thetonkotsu was one of the better ramens I've had in Utah. Read more
