Reviews for El Palmar Mexican Restaurant in Syracuse, UT
Greeted as soon as we walked in. Clean and bright atmosphere.\nI had the shrimp fajitas evening special. The shrimp was waaaay... overcooked. Loved the char on the veggies, pico and guacamole fresh tasting.\nChicken enchiladas with green sauce was very tastywith a hint of heat.\nThe food was fresh and served hot.\nThe chips and fresh made green salsa is also very good.\nThe serverwas very nice and attentive.\nThe 3 stars is because of the waaaaay over cooked shrimp. We tried out El Palmar for the first time tonight, we are always looking for good Mexican food here in Utah.\n\nAdrianna was a... perfect server and we hope that we get the blessing of having her service us next time we come in.\n\nThis is a goodneighborhood Mexican place to take your sweetheart to after a long day at work!\nMy husband had the Carne Asada and I had the 2chicken enchilada plate. We saved enough room for Flan at the end?\nChips and salsa were very tasty.\nThe flan was verygood.\nMy chicken enchiladas were delicious!\nGood portion size for me, they were medium size corn tortillas with chicken &cheese, grilled and then topped with Green sauce and pico de gallo. Sooo good!!!!\nMy husband said he has had better CarneAsada, maybe it needs a better cut, a bit more flavor and One of the pieces was a little aged. Beautiful display offood!\nHopefully next time they?ll have the chicken molé for him to try out.\nThe chips and salsa were delicious and they werehappy to bring out guacamole and beans and cheese for me as I?m a big wimp and the delicious salsa was a bit too spicy for mytaste. It was very good though!\nWe will definitely come back and give it another try sometime soon and bring family withus?.???????????? Read more
Finally was able to try this place since it opened. We got the Molcajete, carne Asada fries (which are not on the menu) and... ?rolled tacos? with shredded chicken. Food was pretty decent I have had better but it is literally just down the street from myhouse so I can order and pick up and make it home while food is still hot and fresh. Salsa could be a little spicier and alittle more flavor, rice isn?t my favorite more on the mushy side, I can honestly make it better. But the asada fries werereally good and love the homemade tortillas that come with the molcajete and the rolled tacos were really good. I will be backto try more ???? Read more

Great food, quick seating and delicious food. The chips and salsa were endless and yummy. The Carne Asada is the BEST I\'ve had... since living in Arizona. We ordered tacos, enchiladas, burritos and chimichanga. Plenty of food and even had leftovers for lunchthe next day. Read more
