I NEVER give reviews on restaurants but this was too good not to. From the moment my husband and I walked in we were greeted by... the owner Nick and his parents. The restaurant was very clean and looked nice. We love Mediterranean/Lebanese food, we startedoff with the cauliflower and it was so delicious I can?t wait to go back for more. We then had the hummus and fattoush salad andeverything was so fresh. Our entree was the chicken and beef with rice. The meat was so tender and juicy, we cleaned our plates.I?ve been to several other local Mediterranean/Lebanese restaurants and this by far is the best. I can?t wait to go back!! Read more

Went here recently with my husband and it was really delicious! We are pretty picky when it comes to food and we loved... everything we ordered. The homemade hot sauce paired well with the food the baklava cheesecake for dessert was mouthwatering. The owner was also very pleasant and friendly. We?ll definitely be back! Read more

Ameera is named after the owner Nick's grandmother. My mother and I visited there soon after they opened for the day. Nick... greeted us as we entered through the door. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. Nick seated us, gave us menus andasked what we would like to drink. Mom ordered lemonade and I ordered their Paradise smoothie. Both were freshly made. We arelooking for diversity so we began with the vegetarian combo appetizer. Honestly, for one person this appetizer alone is mealenough and it was very satisfying. Mom ordered the chicken sambusack and I ordered a combo plate favorited by Ameera herself. Both plates came with a nice heap of fresh salad greens. You won't find any iceberg lettuce here. The salad remained fresh andcrisp throughout the meal. Mom and I had tastes from each other's plate as this is also a culinary expedition. Next to Mom'ssalad was a triangle shaped pita bread that was filled with all kinds of goodies. Throughout there is a slight curry flavor thatwe enjoyed and all the flavors melded together wonderfully balanced. At this point we realized that this was no ordinaryrestaurant. Nick is very friendly and approachable when we asked questions about the food. This man has a genuine passion andpride in what he serves and keeps true to his roots and in the tradition of grandma Ameena. We felt as if we were in someone'shome eating a home-cooked meal created by grandma. I'm looking forward to going there again for the cauliflower plate and thelamb chops. Dessert? Nick asks. You gotta be kidding! We left there feeling very full, but not heavily so like we ate a 2lbgreasy hamburger. Ameera also offers catering. Don't pass up this gem. Eat better, eat well, eat healthier. Highlyrecommended! Read more

We stopped by Ameera in the middle of our road trip, and arrived a little earlier than its opening. The owner, Nick, graciously... let us in earlier and provided us with top notch service. We got the Ameera's Favorite Combo, Paradise Smoothies, homemade hotsauce, hummus, pita to go with it. Everything was absolutely delicious - I 100% recommend! Read more

Nick (the owner) seems like just a genuine, friendly guy who really enjoys running his restaurant. You'll be greeted with a... happy smile and enjoy an all-around upbeat time here. What's even better than that is the food. Everything was fresh, made toorder, piping hot when it got to the table. Portions are generous and easily justify the price point, which is not bad, either! The red meat and chicken were both cooked to perfection on our platters. The falafel and baba ghanoush were probably the bestI've ever tried. Without a doubt Top 3. We also asked for a wine pairing recommendation, and we're very pleased with what Nickgave us. I highly recommend going here - you won't regret it! Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the rest of my order, but from the sample platter you should be able to see how great everything is! What a fabulous dinner! My husband and I were visiting my nephew and niece-in-law in Toledo this weekend. We love all... Mediterranean cuisine?especially Lebanese food! We were blown away by the delicious offerings! Huge praise to Nick, the owner/chef who made the best falafel I have ever had, plus awesome cauliflower appetizer, tabouli, fattoush, and kafta, shish kebaband chicken in the specialty combo. We loved it so much that we took another meal to go back to Akron with us! Thank you, Nick, for this gastronomic treat!!! This is a MUST TRY! We will be back the next time we are in town! Wish we could transport thisplace to Akron! Read more
