I used to come here when it was under the old management. It was hit or miss then, and I started thinking I wouldn?t go back.... The next time I went, it was under new management and new menu, and wow - so good! Our family has been back numerous times sincethen, and I think we?ve tried at least 2/3 of the menu. I haven?t had anything I didn?t like. The monkey brain is incredible anda must try! And the service is fantastic too. Rare combination these days. A hidden gem in Central Alberta!! Read more
Generally have always had really good experiences here but tonight we called in for take out and were quoted an hour so we came... after the hour and were prompted to pay, then after paying we were road to wait another 30 minutes. After waiting another 30minutes we were told that it would be only another 5 minutes which turned out to be 15 minutes. I spoke with the manager andshe did not offer us and discout for the present or future. I understand they are busy, but the refusal to do anything about the1 hour & 45 minute wait for a takeout order for 3 people is quite silly. 3 stars because the sushi is good, but we are veryhesitant about returning or ordering take out from here again after this experience. Excellent place to get sushi from, my family and myself have been here a few times. If you have tried sushi in Toronto or... Vancouver this is comparable to the best places there. The only reason I do not give them a 5 star yet is because the avacadoneeds to be more consistent. Avacados are key to some sushi options, the ripeness needs to be almost perfect. I still thinkthis is an amazing place and I would certainly recommend it to family and friends. Read more
I found the older Korean couple who run this to be quite kind and diligent. The food is prepared fresh as evidenced by the warm... center of their Victoria Sushi rolls, but cool avocado toppings. They are very honest too. I ordered the Miso Soup and thenalso the Oyako Don which has Miso Soup included. Instead charging me separately she informed me that she had automaticallyplaced the Miso Soup as part of that order to save me money. I appreciate the honesty. The washrooms are very clean and inexceptional repair. The food was excellent except for the Oyako Don. The sauce was incorrect and much too much of it. Thecomplimentary melon slice at the end was a nice surprise. It is amazing how much parking they have! You will never havetroubles parking here!! Read more
We went to Sushi Hon based on Google reviews and it didn't disappoint. Our daughter inhaled an entire plate of sushi before they... had time to bring out the tempura. Amazing sushi at exceptionally reasonable prices. Super happy with our meal and we willreturn. In case you were wondering... The Yummy Yummy sushi roll is named appropriately. Read more
