Growing up in the Maritimes, Mary Browns was the ultimate place to go as a kid for Chicken Fingers & Tators. Visited the Sylvan... Lake location for the first time to treat my kiddos to a piece of my past & boy! Not only did this Mary Browns smell just likethe Mary Browns from 30 years ago, it tasted just like it! My first visit to Mary Brown's and it might be my last. I went up to the counter as the only person in the place - told the... cashier it was my first time in. I had ordered just a Chicken burger to give it a try. She said it won't be long and into theback she went. My chicken burger was prepped and placed on the counter where I could see it. A skip driver showed up alongwith another person who ordered online for store pick up. While I waited for the other orders to be made - I watched my burgersit there and get cold as I got more and more frustrated. After all the orders were ready, I left with a cold $9.00 burger as adisappointed first-time customer. With three people on staff, I think the flow of operations should be looked at! Read more
